Anywho, I just decided I would make an online purchase, I was able to find everything that I had on my list plus one extra item! A few of the items I ordered were on sale, plus I had a $3.50 off coupon! I will more than likely do a review on each of the products I purchased.
The first thing I got was the Eclos
Facial Cleanser Skin Prep, a product that I love! Normally I would not spend more than like $6 on a face wash, but this one works so well and I love the way my skin looks and feels when I'm using it. Plus it seems to last quite a long time, so for me it's worth the splurge of $14.99. Even better I got it on sale for $12.49 This is the only product I won't be reviewing only because I already have a review posted on it :)

I've been looking for a new heat protectant spray so I picked up two new ones to try out, L'Oreal Sleek It Iron Straight Heat Spray and a travel size of Not Your Mother's Beat the Heat Thermal Shield Spray. The L'Oreal was $4.99 and the NYM's was $2.99
I have also been wanting to try a new eye primer so I ordered Primed and Ready Eye Primer from Prestige. Regular price is $9.49 it was on sale for $4.74!
I love NYX single shadows so I decided I would try out one of the Love in Rio Trios in the shade Barefoot in the Sand, it was $5.99. It's a nice trio of neutrals, one shimmery shade and two that appear to be matte shades.
The last two items I grabbed were a couple of Pixel polishes, I'd never heard of the brand, but they were BOGO half off so I figured I'd give them a try, they retail for $2.49 I got Aqua Essence and Spam a Lot. These are tiny bottles 0.17 fl. oz. Hopefully the quality of them will justify paying the $2.49
Then of course with every online Ulta purchase you get free samples, the last time I ordered which was back in 2011, I remember getting to choose the 3 samples I wanted. Well this time they give me the option of a 3 piece skincare sampler, 3 piece fragrance sampler or a 3 piece variety sampler. I went with the variety sampler and got some Biolage shampoo and conditioner, Hempz body wash and body lotion and a Butter London scrubber.
Have you shopped at Ulta recently? Find any good deals?
I love Ulta, but stocking and organization don't seem to be their forte. Weird they don't let you pick the samples. That's my favorite part of checking out on sephora.com! lol
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know it's not just the one I visited. I know I was looking forward to picking out my samples too :( but I still like the ones they picked for me lol :)
DeleteThere are 3 Ulta's within 10 miles of me, but because Ulta started in Illinois they are all old and they don't have a lot of stuff the newer stores around the county have - so I always shop online. I swear you get better deals and they never give samples at the store.
ReplyDeleteAfter my first trip experience, I think I'll stick to shopping online. The $5 and some change shipping is less than what I would spend in gas getting to Ulta anyhow LOL
DeleteMy Ulta is hardly stocked either! It's quite annoying when you keep going just to find a couple items, and they're never there. I definitely prefer shopping online!
