St. Patrick's Day Nails

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings

I always tend to drag out my Green polishes during the month of March in an attempt to create a nice looking St. Patrick's Day manicure. This time around I ended up buying a new green polish, I was in Walmart and noticed a new display from Pure Ice called Luck of the Stylish. I picked up six shades from the display :/ I'll add a photo of the other four at the end of the post, I used 2 for this nail look.

I started out with 2 coats of Shore Bet, a nice nude cream polish, on all my fingers except for my ring finger.

For my ring finger I used 2 coats of Lucky Charming, a gorgeous green with lots of green and gold shimmer. One coat of this is fairly light and a little sheer, so I suggest using at least 2 if not 3 coats.

To finish this look off I used Blasted Gold, a crackle polish from Sephora by OPI that I picked up at Big Lots. When I got this I was not aware that it was a crackle polish, thought it
was just a pretty gold, but that's okay because it worked great for my manicure.

Here is my finished St. Patrick's Day manicure! Love how good the gold crackle looked over the nude, then the pop of green.

Here are the other four colors I picked up from the display. I do not know if they are new colors or not, just found them on the display :)

Starting on the Left we have: Pot of Gold, Home Run, Be My Clover and Happy Hour

Did you do a St. Patrick's Day manicure? If you did leave the link to it below, would love to check them out!

  2. That's really pretty! I thought of painting my nails for the holiday, but we're just having a quiet day in, so I ended up not doing anything.

  4. I've always loved crackles. Since you don't see people wearing them anymore, it's the perfect time to pull them out again. That gold looks really nice over the nude polish. Very pretty!

    1. You are so right, I've not seen a lot og people using crackle either. I like them too because the result is always different.
