Haul: TJ Maxx, Ross & Big Lots

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings | Gifted

As of late I have been obsessed with Big Lots and TJ Maxx for finding beauty products, especially nail polishes, at discounted prices! Last week hubby and I ventured out on a little shopping trip and the town that we went to not only had those two stores, but they also had a Ross, I was able to find some pretty good deals.

From TJ Maxx I stumbled upon a duo of Orly polishes, Fabulous Flamingo and Ancient Jade, for $6.99! That's like paying $3.50 for each polish, not too bad considering they are priced at $8 for a full size bottle and $3.99 for a mini bottle at Ulta.

I also came across some mini OPI Sets
that I had been debating on getting from Amazon, but they were cheaper at TJ Maxx after factoring in shipping costs from Amazon. I picked up the  Rock Goddess set for $5.99, cheapest I seen it on Amazon was $7.86 with free shipping and the San Francisco set for $6.99, the cheapest I seen it on Amazon was $10.75 including shipping.

It has been a long time since I have been in a Ross, I'm talking like 5 or more years! They had tons of nail and beauty related products, but I only seen two that were really calling my name. First is a three pack of nail art wheels from Style Essentials for $4.99, that contain some rhinestones in multi-colors, some clear rhinestones and what looks like pearls, and the last wheel has some gold and silver stars, hearts, circles, etc. I also seen this mini set of Color Club polishes for $3.99! I really wish Color Club would put names on their minis :/ On the packaging it says Girl About Town.

Last stop Big Lots, I feel like they have stepped up in the beauty department lately, I have been finding all kinds of great things here!

I picked up two more of the Sephora by OPI polishes, Keep Me on My Mistletoes and A Color That Can't Be Tamed. I also found this little vacation trio set of ELF polishes for $2.95, it comes with Mint Cream, Lilac, and Punk Purple! The last few times I've been to Big Lots I have seen the Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow duo ($2.80) and these Cover Girl Exact Eyelights ($3.00), so I figured I would go ahead and pick up one of each and give them a try. I got the Revlon duo in the shade Atomic and the Cover Girl Eyelights in Majestic Hazels. I do not have hazel eyes, but I thought these colors were pretty, so hopefully they will work well for me.

I have one more haul coming this month and that will probably be it for hauls for a while, don't you love when your tax refund checks come :)

I'm curious if anyone has tried the Revlon or Cover Girl Eyeshadows? Did they work well for you?

  1. Wow, what a haul! You got a great deal on those polishes! I'm finding lately Amazon doesn't have the best prices for the items I want. I'm not sure why, either--it seems like things have changed over there lately. Hmm...

That Orly pair will be perfect for summer! Two of my favorite colors for warm weather pedis :)

    1. I was so excited to find the Orly and OPI polishes. When I shop on Amazon I always try to find the best possible deal, but sometimes it's still not much of a deal LOL.

As soon as this snow melts and the warm weather finally comes in, the pink Orly polish will be on my toes ;)

  2. O_O I should check my Ross... maybe. >_> Last time I went the cashier was very rude, but for polish it might just be worth it.
