As you know I am trying to chip away at this massive pile of untried nail polish, so today I have not one but two colors for you!
Today I have two polishes from Broadway Nails, Sour Apple and Easter Annie. Both of these are cream polishes and a little on the thick side, once I seen how thick they were I opted to do a gradient mani and they worked amazingly well for that.
I started off by getting one of the wedge shaped makeup sponges and letting water run over it then squeezing it out, this helps to not have to use so much nail polish. I set my sponge to the side and painted all my nails with Avon Iceberg, a white nail polish. Once that dried I began working on my gradient, I did them all the same way with the exception of my ring fingers, I flipped the colors just to change it up a bit ;) I topped everything off with some Salon Perfect Cosmic Dust, which my camera refuses to take a good photo of. I can not for the life of me get a good shot of all the sparkle that it contains!
I really love the way this came out, I even had a little old lady comment on them saying "look what beautiful nails"!
I get to work the day shift on Saturday and have Sunday off so I will chip away at this pile a little more over the weekend!

TIOT: Essence LOL
Today I am trying on another one of the Essence polishes that Lizzy sent me (Thank You!) called LOL. I like this polish for so many reasons: great color, dries super duper fast, great application and the name!
I started out with 2 coats of LOL and then topped that off with Fuzz-sea from the Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat line. I think they look great together, although the green bar glitters from Fuzz-sea kinda blend in with LOL. The blue glitters though stand out really well against LOL. I also decided to go with a matte finish, which I don't think really looks matte in this photo. I may have took the photo before the matte coat dried all the way, but in any case I used Matte FX from Salon Perfect.
I think this would look cute on the toes too ;)
I know super short post. Tomorrow I think I'll be back with short reviews on 3 of the products that were in my Spring Fling VoxBox! Hope you all have a great day!

TIOT: Essie Vices Versa
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings | Gifted
I'll go ahead and put it out there, I'm a little on the fence about Essie's 2014 neon collection *gasps* I know, sorry. I have 4 of the 6 polishes and the shades are amazing and they apply pretty decent, my issue is how fast they chip! I know neons do chip more than regular polishes, but the same day come on now.
I've used two of these, I'm Addicted a super pretty light neon blue, chipped the next day. I tried out Vices Versa next, it chipped the same day I painted them, not super bad chips but still chips. Hoping the other two that I have won't be like that, but we shall see. Still not sure if I will get the other two shades from this collection.
Okay let's get to Vices Versa, it is a super bright neon green! Love the shade, perfect for spring and summer manis. It dries to what I'm going to say is a semi-matte finish, not completely matte, but not really shiny either. It is slightly sheer, I applied 3 coats and you can still see my nail line, not a huge deal to me but I know some don't like that. Application was decent, no real issues, with it being a semi-matte finish it does dry a little faster than regular polish so you have to be careful and not take too much time or else you will start to drag the polish around.
I loved this color on it's on, but I wanted to add a little something to it. I had some 2mm Fluorescent Round Rhinestones from the Born Pretty Store that I thought would go great with this color! The set came with green, pink, orange and blue rhinestones. I decided to use the pink on my ring finger to make an accent nail, I did a simple French Tip type look, mostly because I had house work to do and didn't know how well these would stay on. I have to say I'm quite impressed, I only lost one yesterday and that was because I didn't get it coated well enough with my top coat and I was messing with it. I really like these rhinestones because they are pretty flat, so the won't get snagged over stuff. These come 400 pieces to a set for $3.12, free shipping and you can save 10% with the following code: SMBW10
I am trying so hard to get my unworns whittled down, but honestly we all know that is a never ending task because I can't stop buying new polishes LOL If any thing in there catches your eye and you want to see it let me know and I'll test them out first ;)
Alright that's all for today! Hope you all have a great day, we are expecting some storms over the next few days, hopefully nothing severe!

Pink Ice: Chocolate Chip
A couple weeks ago I went in to Rue21 to check out their nail polish and came out with two. Today I want to share with you Chocolate Chip! A pastel Green with matte bright colored glitters.
This is a great polish for spring and summer, it's just such a fun looking polish! When I put the first coat down I was like oh no this is not what I thought it was, but it worked out. I had to apply 3 coats to get the polish to a good opaque finish. Luckily the polish dries fairly quickly, I was happy with that!
These Pink Ice polishes retail for $3.99, but I guess sometimes they have them on sale 2 for $5, that's what I got mine for.
I think they are a good quality nail polish, I wore this mani for about 4 days with no chips and just minimal tip wear. I really didn't want to take this off, it's so pretty to look at! It was a little bit of a pain to remove, but what glitter polish is not?
In other news, I have no clue what kind of posts I will have for the rest of the week. I have not had time to sit down and plan anything out :/
Hope you all are having a fantastic Tuesday!

TIOT: China Glaze Running in Circles
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings | Gifted
I was going through my nail photos on my computer and uploading some of them to my Facebook page and I came across China Glaze Running in Circles. I could have swore I already posted the photo of this polish but I searched my blog and could not find it, so I'm gonna share it with you today. As I'm typing this I'm still saying to myself, I know I posted this LOL
Running in Circles is from the Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away Collection and is a gorgeous shimmer filled green! Best I can remember I used 2 coats in the photo below.
How gorgeous is that? You can still see my nail line while out in the sun, maybe a third coat would have fixed that, but I still really love this color.
Really don't know how I manged to skip over this and not get it posted :/ My Mom would say I was showing my age LOL
Next Tuesday I will have Pink Ice's Chocolate Chip for my TIOT, it's a fun little polish I picked up at Rue21

TIOT: Revlon Rain Forest
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings
Keeping with the St. Patrick's Day theme from yesterday's post, I have another green polish for today's Try it on Tuesday!
This is Rain Forest from Revlon Color Stay. This was another one of the polishes I found at Big Lot's. Only paid $1.50 for it and seen it at Walmart a few days later for $4.97
Application of this was very nice. First coat is sorta on the sheer side so I added a slightly thicker second coat. I should have just added 2 more thin coats, because the thicker on made it take much longer than it should have to dry. Hence the messed up tips and some dings.
I really like this color, deep green with lots of shimmer, which my camera did not do any justice to. Looks so stunning in the sun, so shimmery!
For next Tuesday I am planning on showing Ruby Without a Cause from Sephora by OPI
Do you like to use deep greens like Rain Forest on your nails?

St. Patrick's Day Nails
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings
I always tend to drag out my Green polishes during the month of March in an attempt to create a nice looking St. Patrick's Day manicure. This time around I ended up buying a new green polish, I was in Walmart and noticed a new display from Pure Ice called Luck of the Stylish. I picked up six shades from the display :/ I'll add a photo of the other four at the end of the post, I used 2 for this nail look.
I started out with 2 coats of Shore Bet, a nice nude cream polish, on all my fingers except for my ring finger.
For my ring finger I used 2 coats of Lucky Charming, a gorgeous green with lots of green and gold shimmer. One coat of this is fairly light and a little sheer, so I suggest using at least 2 if not 3 coats.
To finish this look off I used Blasted Gold, a crackle polish from Sephora by OPI that I picked up at Big Lots. When I got this I was not aware that it was a crackle polish, thought it

Mish Mash Challenge Week 27: Green
Happy Wednesday to you and welcome to week 27 of the Mish Mash Challenge! This week our theme was Green, I have a couple of green polishes, but I just wasn't really feeling either one of them, so I went to one of my untried polishes that had the word green in the name, NYC Python Green. This is a polish that I picked up on one of my Big Lots trips for $1
I'm kinda on the fence about this polish, I think I was expecting something more from it. It's not really green, more like an olive brown with some gold shimmer. The formula on this was a little thin too, it wasn't running into my cuticles thin, but thinner than what I'm used too. I applied 2 coats, wish I would have used 3 as you can still see my nail line. I'm wonder if this would looked good layered over black?
Let's check out what the other ladies did for Green!

Halloween Nails: Part 3
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings
Today I am back with the third and final part of my Halloween nails mini series. Today's look is a cute simple nail look I created using dotting tools!
To start off I painted my nails with green shade for my base. I had four greens in my collection that I thought would look great for this and I could not decide on which one I wanted to use so I used them all. On my index finger I used Wild Thing from Pure Ice, my middle finger is Free Spirit also from Pure Ice, on my ring finger I used Happy Endings from Sinful colors and on my little finger I use a bright neon green from L.A. Colors that does not have a name. I then took a white cream and put 2 dots on each nail, then came back with a black cream polish and a slightly smaller dotting tool and placed black dots on each of the white dots to create the eyes. I then took a smaller dotting tool and drew a horizontal line under the eyes and then made a few vertical lines across the horizontal line to form a little mouth.

Mish Mash Challenge Week 3: Metallic
It's Wednesday and that means it's Mish Mash Challenge day! This weeks challenge which was metallic nails. I have a whole set of L.A. Colors polished that are labeled as metallic that I think I have only wore one color from, so I thought today would be a great day to showcase another color from that set. These polished do not have names or numbers which is kind of a bummer, so well just call this one 'The Green One'. Application was great and I love how quick it dries. I felt it was a little plain so I decided to add a rhinestone on my ring finger. Not sure if the stone really helped or not, but I thought it was sorta cute.
Be sure to stop by and see what the other ladies did for Metallic Week!

ABC Nail Challenge: Letter Q
It's time for the ABC Nail Challenge!
I do not have a single nail polish color or brand that starts with the letter Q, nor could I think of a type of nail art that started with the letter Q. So I found a polish in my stash that had the letter Q in it somewhere LOL, which is Sea-Quin by Pure Ice. This was one of their limited edition polishes from the Runway Collection. I added Sea-Quin on top of Happy Ending by Sinful Colors.
I kinda feel like I cheated because neither of them start with Q, but I worked with what I had. I have also been selected as participant in a nail product testing group, that starts today, and I will not be able to paint my nails for 2 weeks!!! (I can't go in to any details about it now, but when the trial is over I will tell all about it). I went ahead and did my S and R manis, so I won't have to skip any of the challenge days :)
Okay, on to the Letter Q photos:
