Today's post is a NOTD plus a mini review of EBALAY Warm Orange Shiny Glitter Nail Polish that I received from KKCenterHK for review.
I had some difficulty with this polish, I tried several different base colors with it, from white, orange, black, blue and several shades of purple and could not find a color that looked good with it. In the end I opted to do a jelly sandwich with it using Wet n Wild's 2% Milk and really liked the results.
The Ebalay polish is a clear base full of white and orange hex glitters, white bar glitters and some purple iridescent glitters as well. The polish it's self is a nice polish, does take a little extra time to dry, but that may also be because I felt like I put heavy coats of polish on in order to get a good amount of 'glitter' on my nails. The glitter was slightly hard to work with. I think it looks amazing in the bottle, just not so much on my nails.

September Favorties & Empties
Where did September go? I don't know either, but I do like the month of October because it's my Birthday month :)
I wanted to share my Favorites and my Empties from September with you today, I just have a handful of each.
Since I only had three empties this month I thought I would just add them in with my favorites.
I used up all my Cynthia Rowley Band-Aids that I got in a Birchbox forever and a day ago. Cute bandaids, but not worth the price.
I also finished up my got2be Smooth Operator Smoothing Luster Lotion. I really like this stuff for taming fly-aways when I flat iron my hair, already repurchased.
My poor little Maybelline One by One Volume Express, I used it as long as I could, honestly it should have probably been thrown out months ago, but I just couldn't let it go. I would repurchase this.
What have been your favorites during the month of September? What products did you finish up?
I wanted to share my Favorites and my Empties from September with you today, I just have a handful of each.
First up is Avon's reformulated eye shadow quad in Stone Taupes. I liked Avon's eye shadows before they reformulated them, but these are just awesome. They feel very velvety, reminds me of the NYX shadows, I think the pigmentation is also better, but I still suggest using a primer.
Up next we have one of my new favorites, Perlier Volcanic Scrub. I got this from iFabbo and I really like it. I have a full review up here if you are interested.
Found a new favorite mascara this month, The Rocket by Maybelline. I still like the One by One Volume Express, but this is a close second to that.
My new favorite fragrance is Coconut Water from Bath & Body Works, really wish I had picked up another one of these.
Eclos facial cleanser is a product I received as a Klout Perk. I really like it, gets all the make up off my face and does not leave it feeling dry. I have also seen an improvement in the texture of my skin since using this.
Last but not least Dove go sleeveless deodorant. I had seen this product advertised a lot and how it claims it will "replenish delicate underarm skin—leaving it softer, smoother and ready to reveal in just five days" and I must say it's claims are true. Wish I had tried this a long time ago. I got soothing chamomile, but next time I think I will try a different scent.

Review: Perlier Volcanic Thermal Scrub
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose
Today I have a review on the Perlier Volcanic Thermal Scrub that I got from iFabbo with my coins.
Perlier Volcanic Thermal Scrub is made in Italy, formulated with key ingredients that are rich in mineral salts. The scrub also contains minerals of different size for a rejuvenating and smoothing action. The large particles work with the thermal water to stimulate regeneration deep in your skin and the finer powders work to smooth skin and rough areas by removing dead cells. One of the key ingredients is water from the hot spring concession located in the municipality of Abana Terme (Padua). Scrub is designed to optimize skins elasticity for a more youthful appearance and combats visible signs of aging like dull-looking skin.
I enjoyed this scrub, it is fairly abrasive, so if you have sensitive skin I would not recommend this to you. I could feel large and small scrubbing particles in this scrub. The smell of this product is amazing, honestly it's one of the best smelling beauty products that I own. It has a very clean, light and fresh fragrance. I also really like the color of the product paired with the black packaging. The consistency of the scrub is fairly thick. This scrub left my skin feeling super soft and smooth. This is a product that I will continue to use probably at least once a week, no more than that though since it is abrasive. I did find that this worked great on my rough heels, two days after I used it my heels were still soft!
The only thing I didn't like about this scrub is, I kept waiting for a warming sensation, which never came. I figured since it has the word thermal in it's name that there would be some kind of warming sensation.
Overall I really liked this product. It can be purchased on HSN.com, you get 6.7oz of product for $25 You can use coupon code iFabbo5 to save $5 off your Perlier purchase from HSN.com

Haul: Avon
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose
Today I have a tiny Avon haul to share with you. These are some of the newest products that Avon has came out with.
I bought a Mascara Guard/Lash Comb, it's supposed to protect upper and lower lids from mascara smudges by using the big end and you can use the small end for a lash comb. After I've used this I'll let you know my thoughts on it.
I purchased one of the Wrapped in Velvet eye shadow palettes in the shade Crushed Velvet. They are described as plush metallic shadows, paired with a rich matte liner. This also comes in Velvet Smoke. I'll have a better picture of the palette when I do my review.
I also got a couple of nail polishes, I got another one of the Urban Splatter polishes in Pink Splatter and one of the new Gel Finish polishes in Glimmer. I am already disappointed in the Urban Splatter polish because I thought it would have pink 'glitters' in it, but it's just a pink jelly type base. I'm really excited to try out the Gel Polish and I'll go more into detail about it after I have tried it. I can tell you that currently it comes in 12 shades.

Mish Mash Challenge Week 9: Blue
I can not believe that we are already on week 9 of the Mish Mash Challenge and that September is almost over! This weeks Mish Mash Challenge theme was Blue and I had all kinds of ideas in my head with little time to execute them, so I went with something pretty simple. I used Maybelline Color Show metallic polish in Navy Narcissist, which is a beautiful royal blue color. Topped that off with Sally Hansen Crackle in Wave Break, which is a beautiful shade of blue with sparkle. Certain ways you turn it, it has a magenta color duo chrome aspect to it. It was some kind of strong crackle, not only did it crackle, but it cracked my base color too! Never had that happen with a crackle polish before, have you?

Review: Born Pretty Glow in the Dark Nail Sticker Decals
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose
Today I have a review of a product I received from the Born Pretty Store. I received a set of glow in the dark nail sticker decals. I really love the concept of nail stickers decals, it's a super fast way to get a rocking manicure that looks like you spent a ton of time on, but really didn't. I was not all that impressed with these decals, for starters you only get 12 decals so it makes it hard to find a strip that will work on all your fingers, because you end up with them either being too big or too small. They are very thin, not like any of the other nail decals/strips I've used before. It is stated on the back of the packaging that they are super thin, so I guess that's the way they are supposed to be. The glow in the dark effect worked great though and made for super cool looking nails in the dark.
I did have some issues with application, I don't know if it was the way I applied them or what, but I lost one the very next day after applying them and I had significant tip wear in no time. These only lasted 2 days for me, they were peeling up on the sides and just did not look good. They were easy to remove, I just peeled them off, I had no need for polish remover.
I would consider trying these again and applying them different to see if that made a difference. I do wish they came like the Kiss Nail Dress though, with them you get 28 strips opposed to the 12 you get from Born Pretty.
Have you tried the nail strips from Born Pretty? If so what did you think about them?

Mish Mash Challenge Week 8: Cold
Sorry I could not resist! Seriously though it is Mish Mash Challenge day! This week our theme was cold. When I think cold, blue automatically comes to my mind, so I decided to do another water marble (I think I may be obsessed with them) using Sally Hansen Blue Me Away and Sinful Colors Snow Me White. I really like how it came out although I smudged my pinkie.
Also as some of you may know, I was at the beach on vacation last week and I love to take pictures and share them, so I thought I would share a few here. If you want to check out all the other pictures I took at the beach, well not all of them because I took around 600, but 150 of the good ones, you can check them out on my Facebook page.
Can't wait do see what everyone else did for cold! Be sure to stop by and check out all the ladies posts.

Nail of the Day: Kiss Nail Dress Corset
Greetings from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! While I am on vacation I wanted a no fuss nail look that would last me the whole time I'm gone, so I went with Kiss Nail Dress in Corset. They are super easy to apply and have held up pretty good, I do have some tip wear, but you can't really see that unless you look at them really close. I thought these would be great for our beach trip since they are such bright and fun colors!
Have you tried the Kiss Nail Dress? What did you think about them?

Mish Mash Challenge Week 7: Least Expensive Polish
Welcome to week seven of the Mish Mash Challenge! This week we are creating manicures with out least expensive polishes in our collection. I went back and forth about which ones were my least expensive, I thought, well the ones I've won or were gifted were free, but I opted to go with a polish that I bought myself, I used Mind Your Own Beeswax from Spoiled. I got this polish when CVS was having their 75% off sale and I only paid $.49 for it!
For this mani I was going to do something different on each finger, but after I did a water marble on each of my ring fingers I liked it so much I just did it to all my fingers. I put down 2 coats of MYOB, then used Black Satin, a cream polish from Rimmel (I also got for 75% off at CVS) and the MYOB to make a nice water marble design. I am very satisfied with how it turned out.

What's In My Travel Bag
Since I am on vacation, I thought it would be fun to share what beauty related items I took with me on my trip.
We'll start of with the 'tools'. I brought along my Elf Complexion Brush for bronzer, Elf Powder brush to 'tap' my face after spraying setting spray, Elf Eye Shadow Brush, Eye Crease brush and Blending Eye brush. I also brought along my Revlon eye lash curler.
Gotta have a clean and moisturized face, so I brought some epille cleansing wipes, L'Oreal toner (love this stuff) and Avon Moisture Boost moisturizer lotion.
For shampoo and conditioner I will brought some samples that I had stashed away. I ended up not bringing the Pantene, I found some Suave Moroccan Infusion Shine shampoo and conditioner samples hidden on the back of one of my shelves. I also brought an extra bottle filled with Aussie shampoo. I changed my lotion out too from what is picture here, I brought along some Vaseline coco lotion, smells yummy. I also wanted a light body spray so I brought my Bath & Body Works Citrus Orchid spray.

Since I am vacationing at the beach I want to keep my make up very minimal, light and fuss free. I brought Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream, Avon Eye shadow quad in Stone Taupes, Avon eye primer, NYC Sunny Bronzer, Avon Water proof mascara, Avon ultra luxury eye liner, Maybelline Baby Lips and Vaseline lip theapy (love using this at night).

Here is my lovely travel bag, it's a Modella bag that I picked up from Walmart a few years ago. It was somewhere around the $10-$15 range, it has nice little pockets all along the inside to stick stuff in.
What do you pack in your travel bag?
