Empties

I'm a week later on my empties post than I had planned. I had the opportunity to go spend a week with my family, so I jumped on it. This will be the first empties post I have done since May so let's just get right in to it!

I mostly had hair stuff, so we'll check that out first. I finished up Avon Advance Techniques Restoring Shampoo and Conditioner, not anything special about it, didn't notice any changes in my hair, will not repurchase. Next is Suave's Humectant Moisture Shampoo, I liked this it smells nice and seems to give my hair a little moisture and it's inexpensive, would probably repurchase. I also finally finished off the Suave Moroccan Infusion Shampoo, love the way it smells! As with all Suave products I would probably repurchase just because it's inexpensive. Tresemme Flawless Curls Mousse, I liked this and it's affordable, would likely purchase again but right now I want to try out some gels and cream products for my curls. Suave Touchable Finish hair spray, used to be my all time favorite, but I fell in love with an old favorite in September while at the beach, so I probably will not be repurchasing this product. My new/old favorite hairspray Rave! I used to use this stuff all the time back in middle and high school, picked up a travel size while at the beach and fell back in love with it. Obviously will be repurchasing this. Finished off another bottle of Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment, love this stuff on the days that I wear my hair in it's naturally curly state, gives it the extra hydration it craves, will repurchase. Lastly in the hair care empties I have some Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, I received these samples from PinchMe back in the summer, best I can remember I really liked these products and they smell amazing, may purchase in the future.

I also had a few face items. Two packs of Epielle facial cleansing tissues, I get these at Big Lots for $1 a pack, they work well and are in my budget. I have already repurchased some back ups. ELF makeup mist and set is my favorite setting spray. I tend to use this more often when I wear a full coverage foundation, I would repurchase. Love the L'Oreal Hydrafresh toner, this is the second bottle I have finished! Have already repurchased. The last face product I finished off is Avon Elements Moisture boost, love this as a spring and summer moisturizer, but now that it is fall my face feels like it needs some extra moisture, so I would repurchase this but for spring and summer use.

Lastly nail and hand items: Onyx professional acetone remover, something that I will repurchase over and over LOL Also finished up a bottle of equate regular polish remover. Lastly I finished off my Sugar Lemon hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works, I love lemon scents so I have to repurchase this!

What products have you been finishing off?

What's In My Travel Bag

Since I am on vacation, I thought it would be fun to share what beauty related items I took with me on my trip.

We'll start of with the 'tools'. I brought along my Elf Complexion Brush for bronzer, Elf Powder brush to 'tap' my face after spraying setting spray, Elf Eye Shadow Brush, Eye Crease brush and Blending Eye brush. I also brought along my Revlon eye lash curler.

Gotta have a clean and moisturized face, so I brought some epille cleansing wipes, L'Oreal toner (love this stuff) and Avon Moisture Boost moisturizer lotion.

Since I am vacationing at the beach I want to keep my make up very minimal, light and fuss free. I brought Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream, Avon Eye shadow quad in Stone Taupes, Avon eye primer, NYC Sunny Bronzer, Avon Water proof mascara, Avon ultra luxury eye liner, Maybelline Baby Lips and Vaseline lip theapy (love using this at night).

For shampoo and conditioner I will brought some samples that I had stashed away. I ended up not bringing the Pantene, I found some Suave Moroccan Infusion Shine shampoo and conditioner samples hidden on the back of one of my shelves. I also brought an extra bottle filled with Aussie shampoo. I changed my lotion out too from what is picture here, I brought along some Vaseline coco lotion, smells yummy. I also wanted a light body spray so I brought my Bath & Body Works Citrus Orchid spray.

A few items not pictured that I also brought along were my Earth Theraputics Tea Tree Oil foot repair balm, love that stuff. ELF Mist and Set spray and Secret deodorant.

Here is my lovely travel bag, it's a Modella bag that I picked up from Walmart a few years ago. It was somewhere around the $10-$15 range, it has nice little pockets all along the inside to stick stuff in.

What do you pack in your travel bag?

Haul: Big Lots

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose

Y'all know how much I love finding good deals and I honestly believe that Big Lots is one of the best places to find good deals on beauty products! With that said, hubby and I went out to do a little shopping in one of our nearby towns and lucky for me there was a Big Lots and I feel like I scored a pretty good haul.

First up I spotted some Salon Selectives shampoos and conditioners. I tend to switch up my shampoo and conditioners every so often, so I thought I would give these a try and 24 oz for $1.80, why not? I got Moisturizing Shampoo for dry, damaged or fragile hair, and smooth and straight conditioner that is supposed to help smooth and tame frizz to give you sleek and silky hair.

I also picked up two packs of the epielle cleansing wipes, one Aloe Vera and one Citrus. I have tried the Green Tea ones and I really like them so I wanted to try out the other kinds they had to offer. These cost $1.00 each and contain 30 wipes.

I spotted some ELF products too and decided to pick up one of the Beauty Must Haves Eyeshadow Compacts in Natural. It was only $2.95 and it says that they can be used dry or wet.

The items that I am most excited about finding are the Maybelline Color Show Sequins nail polishes! I found the whole collection, minus one for $1.00 each! They are gorgeous polishes packed full of sparkle!
L-R: Ruby Rhinestones, Rose Bling, Cocktail Dress, Sapphire Masquerade, Gold's Night Out, Sea-Quins, Silver Gleam
Have you scored any good finds at Big Lots recently?

Haul: Dollar Tree & Big Lots

The Dollar Tree and Big Lots are two really great places to find awesome beauty products at a very low price! I went and did a little shopping at each of these stores last week and wanted to share with you the items I picked up.

We'll start with the items I got from Big Lots. Usually when I go there I will find a least a couple of good beauty buys, this time was no exception. I picked up a pack of epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues, not sure how well these will work, I will let you know, but for the price I could not pass them up. You get 60 wipes in the package and they were only $2.00. They also had 30 count packages for $1.

I also spotted some of the Goody Spin Pins. I got one of these from Influenster a few months ago and I love it. I have seen these at Walmart and they retail for around $6-7, Big Lots had them for $2.50! Of course at that price I had to pick one up.

The last few items I got were nail polishes (like I need anymore lol) They were $1.00 each. I got a Sinful Colors Magnetic polish in the shade Polar Opposites, I don't like the magnetic part of these polishes, but you can wear them just like regular polishes. I also got a Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in the color Blizzard Blue, it's a sheer color, but looks awesome layered over black. I got a NYC polish in the shade Python Green and a polish from the Holiday Lights line that was out in Rite Aid stores last Christmas. It does not have a color name on it, but it's just a clear/white flakie polish with the super cool light up brush!

Left to Right: Sinful Colors Polar Opposites, NYC Python Green, Holiday Lights, Sally Hansen Blizzard Blue, and Milani Pink Pop (Dollar Tree)
Also from Big Lots I found a set of Sally Hansen mini polishes called Happy Manicures with Gem Crush, never seen any of these before. The set comes with Big Money, Be-Jeweled, Bling-tastic and Lady Luck. The names are not on the bottles so I do not know which is which. These glitter polishes can be wore alone with two coats. They are super pretty and so sparkly! I got the set for $3.00

Moving on over to the Dollar Tree. I went there specifically because I heard that they had Milani products, ummm Milani products for a $1.00, I think so. I only got three items, a nail polish in the shade Pink Pop (pictured above) and two of the HD Advanced Lip Colors, one in Classy Nude and one in Raspberry Blush. I really like these lipsticks they are creamy and feel very moisturizing on the lips. Also they are kind of sheer, which I like, but if you like darker lipsticks you can build them up.

Top to Bottom: One swipe of Raspberry Blush, A few swipes of Raspberry Blush, One swipe of Classy Nude, A few swipes of Classy Nude
While I was there I seen some L.A. Colors Trio and picked up a couple of those as well, I got Sunflower and Orchid.

I also wanted to pick up one of the NYC Sunny Bronzers, so I had been looking for it at Walmart cause I thought it would be the cheapest there. Well all of them had been opened, so I thought I'll just run by Rite Aid and see if they have it, they did and to my amazement, at a cheaper price than Walmart! $2.99 at Rite Aid versus $3.97 at Walmart! I'm hoping this will make a good bronzer for me since it is kind of light and so thankful that is does not have shimmer!

Have you bought any new beauty products lately? If so, what did you get?
