Nail Of the Week

This is the last Nail of the Week post for November! Next month I'm going to move them to Mondays and call it Mani Monday.

So this week I went super light with my nail color. Nouveau Cheap had a post about milky glitters in the drug store, but that you can make your own at home. She has a picture up of her DIY milky glitters and I really wanted to give it a try so I used what I had at home. I use Pink Pearl by L.A Colors for my base color, I think I may have put 2 coats. Then I used a glittery polish that I got in a Wet N Wild mini set last Black Friday, it does not have a name. I topped the glitter with a thin coat of the Pink Pearl. I like how it came out, but I think I would rather use a different milky looking polish. Nouveau Cheap recommended Wet n Wilds Megalast polish in 2%, I may go pick that up and give this milky glitter manicure another try.

NOTW

So lately I have been painting my nails black and adding some type of glitter polish to them. This week I decided I would lighten things up a little and go with a purple nail. I used Sea Witch, by Wet n Wild, as my base color and I topped it with Cheatin by Pure Ice. I really love how it came out. I  have been obsessed with glitter polish the last month or so :)

Here is a swatch of Cheatin. I should have swatched Sea Witch too

NOTW

I have been loving all the glitter nail photos that I've been seeing so I used them as inspiration for my Nail of the Week. I used Black Out by Pure Ice, and Party of Five Glitters from Wet n Wild. I wish I had of added another coat of the Party of Five Glitters, but I still really like the look I got.

Nail of the Week

I have been loving my Color Club polish in the color Status Update that I received in my September Birchbox. I have been paring it with different polishes, and this week I tried using Avon Mosaic Effects, which is their version of crackle polish, in the color Fiery Fuchsia. I really like the way it came out. Don't pay attention to the polish left on my fingers LOL didn't take the time to clean them up before I took the picture :)

Nail of the Week

Since fall is here and the weather is turning cooler, I wanted to paint my nails to reflect that.

I used Wet n Wild Goldmine (lighter color) and Orly Chocolate Martini. These colors really remind me of the color of the leaves, and makes me think about Thanksgiving and just everything that I love about fall!

Nail of the Week

For this weeks nails I just wanted something quick, easy and effortless. I was going out of town and did not want to have to worry about chips and that sort of thing, so I used my imPRESS press on manicure in Hottie. I really love these nails! Nail of the Week

Simple nails for this week, NYC Peaches 'n Cream from the City Sweets Collection topped with Essie Luxe Effects in Shine of the Times. I have been wanting this Essie polish and never could find it, so happy I finally did! It's so much better than As Gold as it Gets.

Nail of the Week

This week I just wanted something different, so I paired Wet N Wild's I Need a Refresh-Mint with Sally Hansen's Celeb City. I used China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat, then painted all my nails, except my ring finger, with I Need a Refresh-Mint. I painted my ringer finger with Celeb City. I then added a diagonal line of dots to each finger. And topped them off with NYC Grand Central Station, fast drying top coat. Super easy mani with a different look.

Nail of the Week

This week I wanted something different so I used my Kiss Nail Dress in Gown. Love the concept of this product! It's just a strip of polish that you stick to your nail. Easiest way to do your nails :)

Nail of the Week

This week I wanted something super bright on my nails. After I got my color on I just thought it was kinda plain so I added black polka dots, then on top of that I added silver to the dots. I used Sinful Colors in 24/7 as my base color. I used Rimmel Black Satin for the dots and Pure Ice in Beware for the silver dots.

Nail of the Week 5/20

This week I was feeling the need for a little sunshine :)
For this nail look I started out with my China Glaze strong adhesion base coat, then I used Sinful Colors Unicorn and topped that with my Essie luxeffects in as gold as it gets. I'm still not too sure how much I like the Essie Luxeffects, but I figured I paid $8 for it, so I better use it LOL. I wish I would have got it in Shine of the Times, but I could not find it.
What nail look did you rock this week?

Nail of the Week

This weeks nails were inspired by the shimmering body oil spray in my Avon haul! For this nail look I started out with my China Glaze strong adhesion base coat, then I used Sinful Colors Tahiti Breeze and topped that with my Essie luxeffects in as gold as it gets.

Nail of the Week

I wanted a cool looking pattern for my nails this week, instead of the sparkles I've been wearing. For this nail look I used China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat, NYC Lavender Cupcake from their City Sweets Collection ( I wish I had this whole collection!), Avon nailwear pro in Decadence and NYC top coat called Grand Central Station.

I used the NYC Lavender Cupcake for my base color. I used Decadence for the stamp color. I used stamping plate m60 from Konad for the design.
