I'm kinda on the fence about this polish, I think I was expecting something more from it. It's not really green, more like an olive brown with some gold shimmer. The formula on this was a little thin too, it wasn't running into my cuticles thin, but thinner than what I'm used too. I applied 2 coats, wish I would have used 3 as you can still see my nail line. I'm wonder if this would looked good layered over black?
Let's check out what the other ladies did for Green!
I like the idea of this shade, but not the formula. I have a couple of similar ones that I really love, I think one is from LA Colors and is called "Cactus" or something similar, and it's kind of a fun autumn/winter polish when you want something a little different.
ReplyDeleteI love LA Colors :) This polish is definitely different, I want to like it, but it's not growing on me LOL
DeleteI actually really like it.. In the photos it kinda looks like a khaki green.. Maybe the gold shimmer to it is making it look off color.. I don't mind the sheerness either. I think it looks really good and will have to be on the look out for it now =)
ReplyDeleteGive it a shot over black - I'd love to see it.
Thanks! Yes, I do believe I will give it a shot over black :)
DeleteI often have sheerness issues with NYC. One of the reasons I quit buying them. Yeah, they're cheap, but they always look... cheap... lol
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few of their polishes and a few of them are super sheer, but then there are also some that work really well for me lol, guess it's just hit and miss with them.
DeleteIt's a pretty colour for $1, I like the shimmer. It's a shame the formula is thin though. A black snake skin stamp over the top would look really cool and ties in with the python name! :)
ReplyDeleteNow there is an awesome idea! I'll have to look through my plates and see if I have snake skin :)
