Review: Milani Shadow Eyez

Milani Shadow Eyez 12 hour pencil is supposed to be a water resistant, crease proof, long lasting eye shadow pencil that can also be used as a liner. It's a paraben free and highly pigmented formula. Said to be creamy and smooth with metallic finish.

Miliani Shadow Eyes in Champagne Toast
I truly love this product. It goes on so easily because it's so smooth and creamy. It will last all day and all night. I have had no issues with creasing or fading. I swatched this on my hand the day I got it, forgot about the swatch and went to bed with it on my hand, when I got up the next morning it was still there! I feel like this product should be labeled smudge proof too, when you first apply it, it feels damp but then it dries and I rubbed my finger across it and it hardly moves if any, but you have to wait for it to dry or it will obviously move. It's definitely water resistant, if you get it wet you can't tell any difference, just don't rub it till it's dry again. It is a highly pigmented eye pencil, beautiful color with a metallic finish. I received my pencil from a giveaway that Milani had, I do wish it was a couple dollars cheaper, but this is something I would definitely purchase.

The Milani Shadow Eyez reminds me of NYX Jumbo Pencils, but is 100 times better! You can find Milani products in most drug stores. The Shadow Eyez 12 hour pencil retails for $6.99. It's available in six colors: Winter White; a white with a  metallic finish, Brown Deluxe; a brown with a pearl finish, Champagne Toast; a champagne with a metallic finish, Green Safari; a green with a pearl finish, Aquatic Style; a turquoise with a pearl finish, and Royal Purple; a purple with a pearl finish.

Have you tried any of the Milani Shadow Eyez? What did you think about them?

Final Say:
Quality: 5/5
Value: 4/5
Pigmentation: 5/5
Packaging: 5/5
Overall: 19/20

  2. Thanks for this review! I've been looking at these for a while but was leery of purchasing them after trying (and being disappointed by) the NYX sticks. Now I think I will go ahead and try them.
