ELF Mineral Shadows

I LOVE these shadows! They have very good pigmentation, long wearing, don’t crease and are shimmery! I feel like a little bit of these shadows go a long way! Well worth the money!
Colors from top to bottom:
Angelic, Sweet, Smoldering, Earthy, Elegant, Caffeinated, Socialite.
You can find all these shadows at E.L.F under the Mineral category!

Review on The One Sweep Eye Shadow

I honestly do not like this product. I can see the point behind it, which is to be able to get your lid color, crease color and highlight on at one time, using only one brush, in this case a specially shaped applicator.
I tried using this product several times. The first time I only got product on my lid. The next few times I used it I got all three areas; lid, crease and highlight, but I wanted the colors to be a little darker and tried to go back over it and totally messed up what I had already done.
I don’t think that you can make a specially shaped applicator to fit everyone’s eyes. We all have differently shaped and sized eyes, so I just don’t see how it could possibly work the way it was designed to.
I did find 2 pros for this product; it has great color choices and the pigmentation is awesome!
I will continue to use this eye shadow, but I will use my own brushes with it.

ELF Cosmetics (Lips)

I wanted to continue with  my E.L.F series and tell you about the lip products. They have two main lines, essentials and studio. The items from the essentials line only cost $1.00, yep that’s right a buck! The items from the studio line cost $3.00. They offer a wide variety of products on their website. You can also find E.L.F products at select K-mart, Target, Big Lots, and Dollar Stores.
Like the eye products, most of the lip products that I bought came from the essentials line. I will list my favorite products that I have.
First up the $1.00 line lipsticks. I have one in Gypsy and one in Seductress. I was really impressed with the quality of these lipsticks for them to only cost $1. They are very pigmented and glide on smoothly.

Amazing NYX Deal!

So my husband and I were out shopping the other day at a store called Fred’s and I was looking through a clearance bin and found some NYX lipsticks they had marked down to $1.70. I decided not to get them and regretted it so I went back to today to see if they had any left and they did. When I got ready to pay the cashier told me I owed her a penny! I asked her are you serious LOL so what an AMAZING deal!!! When I got home I was wishing I had of got some more, so I decided to go back LOL I found 2 more lipsticks ($.01 each) and an eye shadow ($.50).

Here is my receipt LOL

NYX Glitter Cream Palette

Okay so when I first got the NYX Glitter Cream Palette I was very skeptical about it. To me it felt very dry and I had no clue what I was going to do with it, so I looked up some videos on YouTube to see if I could find any good suggestions.
After watching some reviews on the palette I decided I would go play around with it a bit. I found out that they are really cream, you just got to dig deep LOL! I also found out that it is best to use the sponge tip applicator to apply the product by just patting in on your eye lid. I did experience some fallout, SJ2008 from YouTube gave me a good suggestion about just using tape to remove the fallout glitter from my face!  I used some bronze and brown color eye shadows and then applied the bronze looking glitter.
I still don’t thing I  really care too much for the NYX Glitter Cream Palette for everyday use, but maybe just to use ever once in a while. Here is the outcome that I had!

Cherry Culture Haul

I've been hearing a lot about a website called Cherry Culture, so I thought I would check it out. It’s a website that sells beauty products. I made a purchase about a week and a half ago and got my products the other day. I have only used a few of the products so I can’t really offer any reviews at the moment, but will review them after I have used them for a bit. Here is what I got:
Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish - Left to right: Glasss Pink, Dancing Nails, Tahiti Breeze, Mama-San

E.L.F Cosmetics (eyes)

I have recently discovered this brand of cosmetics by watching videos on YouTube. The brand as you can probably tell from the title is E.L.F (aka eyes, lips, face).
I will break this topic down to 3 entries one for eyes, one for lips and one for face. Most of the products that I bought came from the essentials line. I will list my favorite products that I have and post some pictures of the actual product, and a picture of swatches. Click the photos to see them full size.
First up, tools for the eyes! I have a couple of the eyeshadow brushes, one of defining eye brushes and one of the blending eye brushes. I really like the eyeshadow brushes, they grab a lot of product. I’m not sure yet how I feel about the blending eye brush, I used it once and didn’t care too much for it, but I want to use it some more before I make my final decision about it. The blending eye brush is great! It works very well for blending your eyeshadow so you don’t have harsh lines when using multiple colors. All these brushes are super soft!
I also have a tube of their eye lid primer, which I absolutely love. It really helps your shadow to stay on all day!
The other 3 eye products that I like are the Brightening Eye Quads, the cream shadow duos, and the powder shadow duos. I have bought about 5 of the quads and they have been hit or miss. Some of them are very pigmented and some are not. I really love their cream shadow duos. All the ones that I have gotten have been very pigmented. I feel like they wear very well, just don’t use too much of the product because if you do it will crease on you. The powder shadows are also very pigmented and wear very well. Sometimes I like to put on the cream shadow as a base and then use the matching powder shadow on top.

Welcome

My blog is going to be about great deals on beauty products. Any time I find a good deal I’ll pass it on to my readers. I will also be doing reviews on the products that I purchase. All the items that I buy and review will be items that I have picked up at places like CVS, Wal-Mart, Avon, E.L.F (eyeslipsface.com), and Dollar Stores. I also want to note that all the products that I show and review were bought with my own money. I am an Avon Rep, but everything that I get from Avon I pay for with my own money as well.
I hope that you will find my blog useful for finding great deals on beauty items. Stay tuned for great deals!
