Nail Art Inspiration Via a Challenge

Lately I have had no inspiration for nail art, so I thought I would make my own little Nail Art Challenge for when I needed an idea for nail art. I searched through past nail art challenges and pulled some themes and ideas and compiled them in to one really long list! If you would like to play along too feel free to do so. This is not a weekly challenge so don't feel pressured to post every week (unless you just want too), just when you are looking for some inspiration. Also no need to go in order, just do what sticks out to you. I started with Number 16 so keep scrolling ;)

Today I get to mark off number 16 Water Marble. I am not 100% happy with this because I got a couple of dings and a air bubble, but the parts that didn't get dinged look pretty good and I spent way to much time on it not to share LOL

I used two polishes that I recently won from Heather over at  Crazy Beautiful Makeup. I tried some other colors that I wanted to use but they just would not work for me, but these two worked amazingly and how cute is that packaging!

I usually pull from the outside of my polish ring to the inside, but after watching some videos on YouTube I tried pulling from the inside out and created a spider web like effect. I never knew there were so many other techniques to water marbling!

Blogging Blues

I have been such a total flake when it comes to blogging lately, I think I have the blogging blues! I will have at least two nail product reviews coming up soon, but after that I have no clue. I  may go with micro-blogging on Instagram, so if you don't follow me already and want to keep up with me that will be the best place to find me. If you have Instagram, leave your user name in the comments. Hopefully I will get out of my funk soon.

I do however have some exciting news! Zoya is having another one of their amazing sales, 3 bottles of polish for only $12! The sale ends on July 6th. You can read all about it over on Zoya's Blog. It has been super slow loading with me, so just be patient.

I can not make up my mind which 3 colors I want, so if you have any suggestions leave those in the comments too :)

Haul: Rite Aid

Last weekend I went out and did a little shopping at Rite Aid. I don't get to Rite Aid often because it's not really near me and I have to go out of the way to get there, but when I know they have new collections out or they are having a good sale I will go out of the way to get there.

At the time I went shopping they were having a BOGO Free sale on NYC products and I had heard there were a couple new Sinful Colors collections out. I ended up with two new colors from Sinful Colors Mod in Bloom Collection, Mad about Hue and Nice Steams. I also found the Top of the Gold top coat from NYC, it's gorgeous and I can not wait to try it out! I picked up for my Free NYC product, my all time favorite top coat Grand Central Station. I also seen some of the NYC Sparkle Dust so I picked up one of those to try too, I got in in the shade Pink Topaz. I have also been looking for the new Wet N Wild palettes, but I am having no luck with that, but I did pick up one of their single eye shadows in Kitten for only $.49!

Once I got up to the register and the lady rang up all my items I was a little surprised at the total, so she was going over my receipt and it turns out I had a $3.00 off coupon loaded to my card that I didn't know about! All my items should have been around $13 but with the coupon and sales I only paid $6.89!

Tomorrow I will have a nail look using Nice Steams!

Great Deal at CVS

I have been looking for the Wet 'n Wild Mega Shield lip stick in the shade Birthday Suit for a while now and I finally found one at my local CVS and boy did I get a great deal on it! Currently CVS is having a sale on Wet 'n Wild products 2 for $3. The lipstick is normally $1.99, which is not a bad price to start with, so with the sale it would have been $1.50, but there was a coupon to save $1!! So in the end I scored the lipstick for only $.60!!
