It's Wednesday and time for Letter J in the ABC Nail Challenge
hosted by Kimber over at Kimber's Lacquer Korner! Today I chose to do a Jelly Sandwich manicure, I really love the way these manicures look. I used 2% by Wet n Wild as my base and top color. For my Glitter I used Ant's in My Pants by Spoiled, which is a red glitter with a charcoal colored base.
If you have any recommendations for good drug store polishes to use for Jelly Sandwiches please leave them in the comments below :)
Bonus Picture: This is a photo of my most favorite Jelly Sandwich combonation- Wet n Wild 2% and Trust Fund Baby by Spoiled.
Be sure to stop by and check out what the other ladies did for the letter J!
Ooo I like both of these. The red and grey makes a great color combo.
ReplyDeleteOoh that red glitter is so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty nail polish.
ReplyDeleteBoth jelly sándwiches are really lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI really, really love the last combo!
ReplyDeletePretty!!!! I did a Jelly sandwich too lol. I can't decide which one I like better, the first look or second bc they both look fab!!!

Dream On by Sinful Colors and FucshiaRama by Wet 'n' Wild FastDry are two bright and fun drug store jellies to try. Irish Green by Sinful Colors is also a jelly and should be in their St. Paddy's Day displays at Walgreen's. Revlon's Royal is an amazing deep navy blue jelly and if you do decide to splurge a bit, Ride the Waves by China Glaze is a gorgeous bright blue jelly.
ReplyDeleteI love my jellies! lol I hadn't thought of 2% Milk for a sandwich yet, but you can bet I'll do it now, thanks so much for sharing!
The second one calls out to me but the red glitter in the first is gorgeous and I would so love an answer to your question as well - what's a good drugstore brand jelly!!!
ReplyDeleteAnts in my Pants, haha! What a great name! The combo came out great, I didn't even think about "jelly sandwich" for letter J, what a shame!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I love Ants in my Pants! Both the name and the polish itself!
ReplyDeleteLove both manicures! I don't know why jelly sandwich did not occur to me this week?! It is so perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove this!!
ReplyDeleteOOh I love them both! :)
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that! Wow.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty manis, Amy, and great show of how the best jelly sandwiches may very well come from the least expensive sources. :)
I'm going to take a closer look at my drugstore options this weekend. :)
Oh I love both your mani's, the combination of grey and red is so perfect! Great job for the J challenge :D
ReplyDeleteVery pretty jelly sandwiches you have there :))
