Review: Neutrogena Triple Repair Hair Care System

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings

Neutrogena Triple Repair Hair Care System is a trio of products: Shampoo, conditioner and a fortifying leave-in treatment that claims your hair will be 3X stronger and will mend 97% of split ends with just one use. Leave-in treatment reduces breakage by 80%, leaving hair stronger, smoother and more nourished. The Leave-in treatment also protects against heat styling up to 400 degrees. Fortifying proteins target the weakest parts of your hair to repair damage where you need it most, while nutrient rich conditioners penetrate deep to smooth and seal the hair cuticle and help prevent further damage, all while not weighing down your hair.

When I first started using this hair care system, I had major split ends and a lot of breakage. After just one use of the system I had a hard time finding any split ends at all. I also noticed after just one use, while flat ironing my hair I had a lot less breakage, my hair felt a lot softer and smoother while using the system. I even got a compliment on how shiny my hair looked.

One thing I did notice while using these products is after the first use being so successful about less breakage, the times after that I did seem to have more breakage than I did with the first use, but still not as much as I did before using the hair care system.

I love the smell of the products, very clean scent, makes me think of soap or laundry detergent. Not a huge fan of the packaging, mostly just the shampoo packaging. I would have rather had the opening for the shampoo on top of the bottle instead of the bottom, because sometimes when you flip it open you lose some of the product because it runs out. Granted this can be eliminated by turning it upside down before opening, but then you have to really squeeze the tube to get the product out.

I also really like the consistency of the conditioner and the leave-in treatment. The conditioner is thick and creamy and the leave-in treatment is fairly thick as well, but not as creamy as the conditioner. The shampoo is a little runny, has the same consistency as my Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Shine shampoo.

For me the Neutrogena hair care system did mend my split ends and made my hair look smoother. As far as strengthen my hair, I don't really know if it truly did. For the reduces breakage claim I'm going to say Yes to that one because I did see a bit less breakage than I normally do.

Overall this is a fairly good hair care system. Before I was sent these items by BzzAgent I didn't even know Neutrogena had hair care products! When I heard the brand Neutrogena mentioned I automatically think skin care.

Have any of you tried the Neutrogena Triple Repair Hair Care System? What did you think about it?

After I completed my testing of these products I had a major hair cut done, it had nothing to do with the hair care system, it was something that I had been planning on doing prior to being selected as a participant in this campaign. I usually keep my hair short, but for about 3 years I let it grow out and it was just annoying me, way too long and just in my way all the time LOL so off it went. Loving my new cut now though :)

Review: Not Your Mother's Way to Grow Long & Strong Shampoo & Conditioner

Not Your Mother's Way to Grow Long and Strong Shampoo is made with essential vitamins, herbs and bio-active extracts. It's a salon formula that will have your hair stronger, healthier and in turn longer. It's also a sulfate free shampoo. Claims you'll get longer hair faster, strengthens hair, anti breakage formula. Conditioner claims it will strengthen, moisturize and give your hair a silky texture. Intense moisturizing for all hair types. Says it can be used for chemically treated hair as well.

I think it's really cute that they added on the bottler that Grow Long and Strong was for already existing hair, that it did not grow new hair.

I think this shampoo and conditioner smells amazing, makes me think of strawberries! I feel like this shampoo and conditioner has definitely improved the quality of my hair. I think my hair looks and feels so much more healthier. I think I have way less breakage as well. Both the shampoo and conditioner say to massage into your scalp for 2-3 minutes. I did this with both the first time I used them, but I felt like it took too much time, so for the rest of the time that I've been using these products, I just lathered up the shampoo real good, rinsed, then applied the conditioner on my hair and leave it in while I finish with my shower routine, then I'll rinse it out well. The shampoo and conditioner are both a thicker consistency than any other I've used before. The conditioner though is the thickest conditioner that I've ever seen.

I've never used a sulfate free shampoo before because I've heard they do  not lather like regular shampoos, and I like my shampoo to be very sudsy, otherwise I feel like it's not getting my hair clean. I was very please that this shampoo had a very good sudsy lather to it even though it is sulfate free.

Final Thoughts: I really like this shampoo and conditioner and I may make it my new go to shampoo and conditioner. At Walmart this retails for $4.97 each for a 8oz bottle. The cost is a little higher at places like CVS, which kind of puts me off, but I feel like the few extra dollars I would be spending on this product would be worth it in the long run for the health of my hair.

Review: Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition

About a month ago I was sent a bottle of Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and a bottle of the matching conditioner from BuzzAgent to test out and review. I used these products for a couple of weeks and I have to say I don't like them. The product claims to transform your hair with the most intense nourishment yet and that it nourishes hair to the core. Also states that hair shines from within.

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition

Wanted to tell you guys about a new product that I am trying out. It's the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner for dry or damaged hair. This shampoo and conditioner is formulated to work best on dry or damaged hair. I feel that my hair is very dry, sounds kind of crunchy when you squeeze it. I have naturally curly hair and I tend to flat iron it a lot so I’m sure that my hair has damage. So hopefully this shampoo and conditioner will improve the quality of my hair.

Garnier has spent 2 years formulating the Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner. It contains 3 weightless nutritive fruit oils, Olive, Avocado, and Shea. The conditioner is ultra rich and is supposed to rinse clean. This line also includes Nutrient spray and 3-Minute Undo Dryness Reversal Treatment. They have a suggested retail price of $3.99 for a 13 oz.bottle and $6.99 for a 25.4 oz. bottle.

This product claims to transform your hair with the most intense nourishment yet and that it nourishes hair to the core. Also states that hair shines from within. Claims that the conditioner will not weigh down you hair and reverses up to one year of damage in one week.

I have only used this product twice since receiving it for review from BuzzAgent, so this is by no means a review of this product, that will come later LOL. But with the 2 uses of this product I did notice that it does not seem to weigh down my hair like other conditioner usually do. My hair also feels somewhat smoother. This shampoo and conditioner also smells really good, which is something that I look for in my shampoos. I am anxious to see if this shampoo and conditioner will really reverse a year worth of damage in just one week. I’ll keep you posted!

Have you tried the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition line of products? What did you think about them?
