I was super excited to learn that I won Glitz Glam Budget's Chicnova $50 giftcard giveaway! I had never heard of this site before, it's a online fashion retailer for women that offers purses, clothes, accessories and shoes.

When I filled out the entry form I had in mind what I would like to get if I won, but once I found out I won, I went back and was looking at the site again and got something different than what I had picked out before. I have to say I looked at the site for a few days before I made my final decision of what I wanted.

In the end I opted for the Black Oversized Canvas Tote with Embellished Rivets; I really like this bag, the material feels very durable and it has lots of room! Vintage Metal Heart Bracelet; the charms are so much bigger than I thought they would be, I still think it's super cute though. I also got the Vintage Engraved Metal Pendant Necklace; this is probably my favorite thing that I got. I have been looking for a nice turquoise looking necklace and for me this is just perfect! It's a longer necklace and I feel like I can dress it up or down.

If you are like me and have never heard of ChicNova, you should really check it out. I was really surprised at how affordable their bags and jewelry are. They do have some rather expensive bags too. If you have checked out their site, which piece would you like to own?

Haul: iKatehouse

I heard about this online store called iKatehouse and decided to try them out and make a purchase.
They offer cosmetics, jewelry, lashes, hair accessories, makeup brushes and other items all at super affordable prices. They also sale some higher priced items like NYX in there section called Fancy Stuff. Shipping prices are great too, $2.95 flat rate shipping and free shipping with any order over $39. I was browsing around on the site and seen a lime green nail polish that I just had to have so I found a few other things I wanted as well.

It was packaged very nicely, (snagged some stills from my unboxing video) all wrapped up in pink tissue paper and some packing peanuts. My actual items were packed in a sealed up plastic baggie.

I got two pair of earrings. One pair are sea shell earrings they were $1.49 they are super pretty! The other pair are silver dangle earrings with some rhinestones, they were on clearance and cost $.69! Both pairs of earrings are a lot bigger than I thought they would be.

I also got two sets of bangles, I love bangles! One set has 2 purples and 2 silvers, they were $1.49. The second set has 9 silver bangles 3 of them are twisted, very cool looking! These were also on clearance and cost $.89

I got an ELF concealer brush it was $1 I love this brush for cleaning up around my nails after I paint them.

Last but not least I got two bottles of nail polish from S.he Makeup one fuchsia/magenta looking one called Raspberry and of course the lime green one I mentioned above called Melon.

I am really happy with my whole shopping experince with iKatehouse, the site was easy to navigate and the shipping time was great! I placed my order on the 4th and it arrived on the 8th.

Avon Haul Favorites and Fails

As you remember last week I had four new items in my Avon Haul, Eladia CZ Ring Set, Super Extend Extreme Mascara, Clearskin Pore Penetrating Invigorating Scrub and a True Color Duo in Gold Goddess. None of these items were fails to me (YAY). I did have an issue with the True Color Duo, it seems as though you have to use a lot of product to get the color to show on your eyes, but other than that, I love this duo! The Clearskin Scrub is amazing, it smells of mint and when you put it on your face you get the same feeling you get when you wear mint lip balm, except it's all over your face lol. I feel like this scrub gets my face super clean and it does not leave me with that tight dry feeling that some scrubs leave you with and it makes my face feel really soft and smooth. I'm really liking the Super Extend Extreme

Avon Haul Campaign 12

My Avon shipment finally came, so I can get this post up. Better late than never I guess :)

This campaign I only ordered four items. First up I got the Eladia CZ Ring Set, it is a beautiful 2 piece set. Love it already! Next I got the Super Extend Extreme Mascara, love the yellow tube it comes in, will let you know what I think about the product it's self next Thursday. I also got Clearskin Pore Penetrating Invigorating Scrub. I've been looking for something to exfoliate my skin, hopefully this will work. It smells like peppermint and I LOVE minty things :) Last but not least I got a True Color Duo, I love the quads and they recently came out with the duos so I thought I'd try those too. I got the Gold Goddess Duo, it's just as the name says 2 golden colors.

I will be trying these products out over the next week and come back on Thursday to find out which ones I liked and which ones I didn't.

 Kind of makes me wonder why it looks 'stringy' :/
