ABC Nail Challenge: Letter Z

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose

We have reached the final day of the ABC Nail Challenge! This has been such a challenging and fun challenge to take part in. The ladies will be starting up another challenge soon so keep an eye out for that. I'm not sure if I will be participating in the upcoming challenge or not :/ I was hoping to get to do a new nail product trial, but that fell through so I will be taking part in the new challenge! :)

Anywho on with the Z manicure. I have one Zoya polish that at the beginning of this challenge I said, I'll save this for my Z. Ummm yeah so that did not go as planned, I used it for my L because it's called Lotus. So I had to figure out something else to do for Z, and the best I came up with was Zebra nails! I used Konad stamping plate m57, White on the Spot from Milani and Blackout by Pure Ice.

Please excuse my fingers and cuticles. I totally forgot to apply some lotion before I took these photos :/
Also, I'm looking for a good, but inexpensive cuticle oil, something you could get from Walmart or the drug store. Anyone have any good suggestions?

As always, be sure to stop by and see what all the ladies came up with for letter Z

  1. Hi, Amy!!! Great Z! I think Pro FX Apricot Oil is good. A huge bottle of the stuff is around $4 at Walmart. A little goes a very long way.

    1. Thanks Lisa! I seen that on Walmart's website, but could not find it in my local store. May have to order that. I looked at some by Sally Hansen but it was $6 for just a fraction of what you get in the Pro FX.

  4. Zebra is always classic :) Yours looks great! As far as cuticle oil goes, Essie's is decent for $8. It's a small bottle, but you really don't need to use a ton at a time.

  5. Cool! Have you tried pure Vitamin E oil? I've seen it packaged up by Sally Hansen and the like but you can buy it from the vitamin section at Walmart much cheaper.

And I'm really sorry you're product testing fell through, but I'm so happy you will be with us for the next challenge.

And I use the Pro FX cuticle oil and love it, but Walmart seems to have quit selling Pro FX. Loved their top coat too :(

  8. How about just plain vitamin E oil? It is usually tucked somewhere on a bottom shelf. I've seen some new oils in the baby section too, in spray form.

    Your zebra nails look awesome!

  12. Of course, zebra nails! My god, why didn't I think I that!!! Hahaha!
I have read that any sort of oil is good for your cuticles. You don't have to buy anything fancy. ;)

    1. I seriously LOL :) I picked up some Vitamin E oil from Walmart, found it in the vitamin section. So far it has worked well for my cuticles and seeing slight improvements in my nails, I'll have to use it for a while longer and see how things go.
