Today I have super short Try it on Tuesday featuring Mint Chip, one of the polishes from Sally Girl March Ice Cream Shoppe Collection.
Overall I was not very impressed with this polish. For starters I could not get the polish mixed together properly, you could see where it was starting to separate, you know the way polishes do if they set to long. I shook it, I rolled it between my hands and could not get it to mix to save my life, so I just used it as it was. It was a little thick and goopy and it was streaky. I had to use three coats to get it evened out. I also feel that this comes off more blue than mint.
I purchased the other 3 polishes in this collection, I hope the formula is better on them :/
Today is the last day to enter my Reader Appreciation/3 Year Blogiversary Giveaway, so if you haven't done so head on over. I'll be announcing the winner on Thursday :)
That's a pretty color, it's a shame it didn't work well. Still looks nice on your nails thought!
ReplyDeleteThank you Emily! Yeah, I had high hopes for it. Maybe the others will be better :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Martha! I was shocked at the formula, I've used this brand before and the others worked well.
DeleteOMG I so want to get one of those little paint shakers for nail polish.... lol I would take a day to just sit here and shake every single bottle. XD Anyway, at least it came out cute looking. :)
ReplyDeleteOh that would be such a huge help! I didn't even know they made such a thing :)
Deletei have found that the be the case with polishes like that
ReplyDeleteI wish they would put a shaker ball in there, I think it would work much better if they did :)
