Fall Nails

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings | Gifted

Today I am sharing with you what will probably be my last Fall mani of the year, and I'm loving it. One of my favorite things about fall is when the leaves begin to change colors, I especially love Maple leaves, they are so brightly colored. Because of that fact when I seen these Maple Leaf Water Decals from Born Pretty Store I just had to have them. If you are interested in these you can save 10% with code: SMBW10  and shipping is always FREE!

After receiving these I had to decide on a base color that would look great with the leaves, I decided to go with Urban-Nights from China Glaze. It's a beautiful deep plum-purple cream that is just perfect for fall and in my opinon really helped the color of the leaf decals stand out. These decals were really easy to work with and I had no issues with them at all, like I do some decals.

Y'all know me, I can't just leave well enough alone, so I added some of It's Real 18K top coat from Sephora by OPI to give it a little something more. I really like how it turned out, but my camera just could not capture how pretty it really was in person.

Do y'all like doing the Photo-a-Day challenges? Well I've never done one and I've always wanted to, so I found a few for the month of December and pulled prompts from each of them and made up my own little challenge. If you are interested in doing it, I have it posted over on my Instagram. Let me know in the comments if you will be doing it too :)

Haul: TJ Maxx, Ross & Big Lots

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings | Gifted

As of late I have been obsessed with Big Lots and TJ Maxx for finding beauty products, especially nail polishes, at discounted prices! Last week hubby and I ventured out on a little shopping trip and the town that we went to not only had those two stores, but they also had a Ross, I was able to find some pretty good deals.

From TJ Maxx I stumbled upon a duo of Orly polishes, Fabulous Flamingo and Ancient Jade, for $6.99! That's like paying $3.50 for each polish, not too bad considering they are priced at $8 for a full size bottle and $3.99 for a mini bottle at Ulta.

I also came across some mini OPI Sets

TIOT: Ruby Without a Cause & Ruby Rhinestones

For today's Try it on Tuesday I'm doing another combination look using Ruby Without a Cause from Sephora by OPI and Ruby Rhinestones from Maybelline Color Show.

Ruby Without a Cause had a fantastic formula, I only needed one coat for it to be fully opaque! Application was smooth and it had a fairly quick dry time. I wasn't sure what color was going to end up on my nails just by looking at the bottle, because you could see some green and silver. On my nails it all showed up as a nice burgundy color, but I felt that it needed a little something else so I added just a little bit of Ruby Rhinestones.

Ruby Rhinestones has a translucent

St. Patrick's Day Nails

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings

I always tend to drag out my Green polishes during the month of March in an attempt to create a nice looking St. Patrick's Day manicure. This time around I ended up buying a new green polish, I was in Walmart and noticed a new display from Pure Ice called Luck of the Stylish. I picked up six shades from the display :/ I'll add a photo of the other four at the end of the post, I used 2 for this nail look.

I started out with 2 coats of Shore Bet, a nice nude cream polish, on all my fingers except for my ring finger.

For my ring finger I used 2 coats of Lucky Charming, a gorgeous green with lots of green and gold shimmer. One coat of this is fairly light and a little sheer, so I suggest using at least 2 if not 3 coats.

To finish this look off I used Blasted Gold, a crackle polish from Sephora by OPI that I picked up at Big Lots. When I got this I was not aware that it was a crackle polish, thought it

Collective Haul

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings

If you follow me on Instagram you have seen a sneak peek of this haul :)

I also want to say that I am in no way trying to brag by posting hauls, I love reading other's haul posts so I hope others enjoy reading mine too. It's always fun to see the things that people buy. Okay on to the haul.

Last week the hubby and I went shopping in a city that is about 50 or so miles away from us, we live in a tiny town and don't have any of the good stores LOL I picked up a few new goodies and wanted to share.

First place we went was the Dollar Tree and there I found some L'Oreal Project Runway Limited Edition nail stickers. I picked up two of them one in The Seductive Temptress, which looks like snake up close and camouflage from a distance. The other set I picked up was The Wise Mystic, they look sorta like fishnets with some glitter! The only other item I picked up here was a tube of Udderly Smooth hand cream.

Next at TJ Maxx I found some of my favorite foot balm. I won a small tube of this in a giveaway last year and it is the best lotion to use on my feet in the summer time. I've not repurchased it before, because for me it was a little expensive, but I found two 4 oz bottle for just

Sinful Colors Nice Stems

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings

Today I am trying out two of my new polishes, Nice Stems from Sinful Colors and It's Real 18K Top Coat from Sephora by OPI.

I am a sucker for mint colored polishes, I am just drawn to them, so when I seen Nice Stems I just had to have it! It is from their Mod in Bloom Collection.

Nice stems is a cream polish, the formula was pretty good on it. The first coat looked streaky, but the
second coat evened it all out. It did cause the two nails that I had some peeling issues with to stand out.

I also still had my bottle of It's Real 18K top coat from Sephora by OPI, that I had not tried out so I thought I'd try it over Nice Stems. I really love the way they look together. 18K is a nice top coat and the only issue I had with it was that it seemed to take a while to dry. I ended up with some sheet and hair marks in my polish the next morning.

It also turns out that Nice Stems makes a great dupe for For Audrey from China Glaze!

Hope you all have a great weekend! I'll be back Monday with some Water Transfer Stickers from KKCenterHK.

TIOT: Sephora by OPI I Only Shop Vintage

This is my first Sephora by OPI polish that I have tried, and I love it! So glad that I was able to find some of these polishes at Big Lots a while back for only $1.80 each!

Today's color is I Only Shop Vintage, it is a beautiful tan color with lots of gold shimmer. Application of this polish was amazing and it was a fairly quick drying polish. I think I used 3 coats of this, I'm not 100% sure, but about 95% sure LOL. Wear time was also amazing, I wore this for 4 or 5 days and I did not have any chips and barely any tip wear.

Very impressed with this polish, I have one more of the Sephora by OPI polishes to swatch, should have it up in the next couple weeks. It's called Ruby Without a Cause, I really hope it wears as well as this one did! But until then my schedule says next week will be Grape Juice from China Glaze :)
