Today's polish comes from the Maybelline limited edition Vintage Leather Collection, it is Lasting Lilac. I'm not really sure why they wanted to call this line Vintage Leather, to me it's just polish with a matte finish and some metallic looking shards.
Lasting Lilac is slightly sheer, and the first coat was rather streaky, I ended up using three coats to get the opacity to a state I was happy with. I love the shade of this color, it's not lilac at all, but more like a grapey purple. It looked okay matte, but I wanted something shiny so I did add a glossy top coat to it. Obviously since it is a matte finish it did try super quick.
I like this polish for it's super quick dry time and the color, I don't know that I would ever wear it matte, to me I think it looks better shiny. I found this at the Dollar Tree so for $1 can't really say anything bad about it!
Tomorrow I'll be back with Ring the Belini from Sinful Colors Citrus Twist Collection.

Review: Essie Sleek Sticks in Croc Madame
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings | Gifted
A while back I purchased some Essie Sleek Stick nail appliques at the Dollar Tree and I finally got around to trying a pack of them out. I used the ones called Croc Madame, they are a beautiful minty teal green with a crocodile skin texture to them. The textured part also has a slight holographic effect to it.
The Sleek Stick nail appliques have been UV cured to provide long lasting wear with a high gloss finish. In the packaging you get 18 appliques, a cuticle stick and a nail file/buffer. They are super easy to apply, I prepped my nails by removing all existing nail polish and then wiping each nail down with some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. I then used the provided cuticle stick to push back my cuticles. Next I selected the correct appliques for each finger and applied them one by one. I did use my own file to file the excess off, instead of the one provided.
Usually when I use these types of nail nail products they don't tend to stick on very long, but these were a whole different story. I applied these on a Wednesday and by the following Wednesday they were still stuck to my nails! I did, as with all nail appliques, have some tip wear, this might could have been prevented if I had applied a top coat. I feel like I could have wore these for another week, but I was just tired of looking at them so I removed them. The removal process is as easy as the application process, to remove you simply pull them off. They did leave a little glue residue on my nails, but all I had to do was wipe my nails down with some polish remover and it all came off.
I would use these again, but only if I found more of them at the Dollar Tree. To be honest I don't even know if you can find these at the drug store anymore, I looked on Essie's website and could not find them on there anywhere.
Have you tried Essie Sleek Sticks? Did you have good results?

Collective Haul
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings
If you follow me on Instagram you have seen a sneak peek of this haul :)
I also want to say that I am in no way trying to brag by posting hauls, I love reading other's haul posts so I hope others enjoy reading mine too. It's always fun to see the things that people buy. Okay on to the haul.
Last week the hubby and I went shopping in a city that is about 50 or so miles away from us, we live in a tiny town and don't have any of the good stores LOL I picked up a few new goodies and wanted to share.
First place we went was the Dollar Tree and there I found some L'Oreal Project Runway Limited Edition nail stickers. I picked up two of them one in The Seductive Temptress, which looks like snake up close and camouflage from a distance. The other set I picked up was The Wise Mystic, they look sorta like fishnets with some glitter! The only other item I picked up here was a tube of Udderly Smooth hand cream.
Next at TJ Maxx I found some of my favorite foot balm. I won a small tube of this in a giveaway last year and it is the best lotion to use on my feet in the summer time. I've not repurchased it before, because for me it was a little expensive, but I found two 4 oz bottle for just

Haul: Dollar Tree & Big Lots
The Dollar Tree and Big Lots are two really great places to find awesome beauty products at a very low price! I went and did a little shopping at each of these stores last week and wanted to share with you the items I picked up.We'll start with the items I got from Big Lots. Usually when I go there I will find a least a couple of good beauty buys, this time was no exception. I picked up a pack of epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues, not sure how well these will work, I will let you know, but for the price I could not pass them up. You get 60 wipes in the package and they were only $2.00. They also had 30 count packages for $1.

Moving on over to the Dollar Tree. I went there specifically because I heard that they had Milani products, ummm Milani products for a $1.00, I think so. I only got three items, a nail polish in the shade Pink Pop (pictured above) and two of the HD Advanced Lip Colors, one in Classy Nude and one in Raspberry Blush. I really like these lipsticks they are creamy and feel very moisturizing on the lips. Also they are kind of sheer, which I like, but if you like darker lipsticks you can build them up.

Mini Shop and Show: Dollar Tree
By now you know that I love finding beauty products at super cheap prices and The Dollar Tree is one of my favorite places to go on a hunt for beauty products. Sometimes you can find great stuff and other times it's just a fail. This weekend I feel like I scored big time when I stopped in at a Dollar Tree while traveling to my Mom's house. I found Sinful Colors and NYC polishes!
The NYC polishes came 2 to a pack for $1.00, these retail for $1.72 each at Walmart, so to get 2 for $1.00 was super. Then I open up the packaging and find that one of the polishes was a polish that I spent all summer of last year trying to track down. It was a limited edition polish from the Summer in the City collection called Peach Sparkle, seriously made me so flipping excited to find that! The other polish that came in the pack is called Murray Hill Mauve, which is a color that I already own.
I will have more in-depth photos of Peach Sparkle on Wednesday in my ABC Nail Challenge Post.
I also found, as I said above some Sinful Colors polishes, these retail for $1.99 and you can find them at RiteAid and some Walmart stores. I picked up #946 Happy Ending, which is a beautiful bright green that has a hint of gold shimmer and #1145 Hot Hot Heat, it's a beautiful metallic burgundy.
Have you spotted any Sinful Colors or NYC at your local Dollar Tree?

Review: L.A Colors Cafe Au Lait
L.A Colors Cafe Au Lait is a small palette of six colors that range from cream to plum. The shadows are velvety to the touch, they remind me a little of how NYX shadows feel.
I am not all that impressed with this little palette. Eye shadow primer, I feel, is a must with these shadows. It seemed to me that I had to really pack on the product to get it to show up the slightest bit on my eyes, and I was using two of the darkest shades in the palette. I had high hopes for this little palette since the colors swatched so well on my hand. I'm still kind of on the fence about this palette. The shadows are buildable for a darker look. I just feel like you have to use too much of the product to achieve a darker looking eye look. I do however, think that it works okay for a very neutral, natural look, which is nice, I was just hoping for better pigmentation.
I will probably still continue to use this palette for when I do want a very light, neutral eye look.

Dollar Tree Mini Haul
First I would like to say I love the Dollar Tree! I don't have one in the town that in, but there are a couple in the surrounding area and I always check out the makeup section when I'm there. This trip I found some really neat goodies!
First up I found some nail art supplies from Donna Michelle. They are eight bottle sets. One set is glitter and the other is little balls also known as caviar in the nail art world. I was so excited to find these at just $1.00 each, I could not pass them up, not to mention I have wanted to try the caviar look for quite some time.
I also found a NYC quad in the shade Riverside Park. This quad is made up of beautiful shades of greens. I've used this once and really liked the look that I was able to achieve with it.
I also picked up a L.A Colors 6 Color Eyeshadow in Cafe Au Lait. I have not had a chance to use this yet, but the colors are absolutely gorgeous. It's a mixture of plum, pink and brown.
I'll have reviews on the eye shadows soon. Have you picked up any good finds at the Dollar Tree recently?
