Hi Y'all! So I've missed a few days of blogging, I've been working 5 days a week and I had Monday off so I left straight from work Sunday night and drove 2 hours to spend Monday with my family then drove back home that afternoon and headed back to work on Tuesday! I'm off today though and I want to share a new polish with you!
Towards the end of last month Lizzy, from Lizzy's Place, blogged about Color Club's Bell Bottom Babe and when I seen it, I had to have it and I was able to find it on Amazon. It has to be one of the prettiest polishes I've seen in a while. It is a shade of blue with a ton of pink/fuchsia/magenta iridescent shimmer!
Please do not pay attention to my cuticles, work has been rough on them LOL.
Isn't she just gorgeous?!?!?!?! Both swatches are 3 coats of Bell Bottom Babe with no undies, I could have probably gotten away with 2 coats, but 3 looks a lot better. Bell Bottom Babe is from the Poptastic Collection.
Friday I plan on being back with a China Glaze polish, not sure which one as I've ordered 5 from Amazon and 3 of them have already arrived. I'm thinking possibly Flirty Tankini ;)

Memorial Day Nails
My plan was to get this up yesterday, but as we all know that did not happen LOL then I was goning to get it posted this morning before I headed out to the event I was attending and I just didn't have the time. Better late than never right :)
I used Cherry Merry and Lucky Strike fom Duri Cosmetics and Snow Me White from Sinful Colors. I painted all my nails, except for my ring fingers white, put down some striping tape and painted them again with Cherry Merry. I used a holographic Color Club polish for my stamping. I would tell you what plate I used, but I'm too tired (lazy) to get up and go see which one it was, if you really want to know let me know in the comments and I'll let you know ;)

Color Club, Sinful Colors & Stamping
I am so over the winter weather and the other day I did a manicure to reflect that. I picked some bright colors that made me think of spring.
Let me apologize for the quality of the photos, I had to take them on my phone because my actual camera was having no part of them, I think it secretly loves winter.
I started off with Sinful Colors Snow Me White, so my nameless Color Club polish, (that we now know is called East Austin, Thanks Lizzy) would pop! I want to call this a neon coral, would look gorgeous on tan skin. I think the It's Real 18k Top Coat would look good over this too, need to try that out.
I then used Sinful Colors Mad About Hue as my stamping polish. The plate that I used was Cheeky Plate CH40, it has super cute designs on it! I found this on Amazon, but not directly from Cheeky.
I really loved the final result:

Super short post for today, I think Mother Nature took note of my mani and gave me some spring like weather! Yesterday was gorgeous, sunny and near 80! This morning however it's currently 8:25, 56 degrees and we are having a thunderstorm, go figure LOL
Hope you all have a fabulous day and don't for get to check out the Giveaway!

Haul: TJ Maxx, Ross & Big Lots
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings | Gifted
As of late I have been obsessed with Big Lots and TJ Maxx for finding beauty products, especially nail polishes, at discounted prices! Last week hubby and I ventured out on a little shopping trip and the town that we went to not only had those two stores, but they also had a Ross, I was able to find some pretty good deals.

From TJ Maxx I stumbled upon a duo of Orly polishes, Fabulous Flamingo and Ancient Jade, for $6.99! That's like paying $3.50 for each polish, not too bad considering they are priced at $8 for a full size bottle and $3.99 for a mini bottle at Ulta.
I also came across some mini OPI Sets

Empties: November & December 2013
I did not get around to blogging about my empties from November, so I thought I would combine them with my December empties. I have quite a few as you can see from above, so lets jump right in.Up first I finished two hand sanitizers from Bath & Body Works, Papaya Melon Scoop and Apple Wreath. The Papaya smelled pretty good, nice and fruity. Would have been a great one to use in the spring or summer. I love Apple Wreath, you can smell hints of apple and Christmas trees, and absolutely love the way Christmas trees smell. I was bummed when I ran out of it and I looked when I was in Bath & Body Works earlier this week and I could not find it or anything like it.
Up next I have three nail polishes, I used these to make Christmas ornaments! I used Glitter Wonderland from Color Club, Get Low and Lost in Vegas both from Pure Ice. These colors made great ornaments since they were shimmery. I used the Glitter Wonderland to make my best friend one since purple is her favorite color and I used the other 2 to make my Mother-in-Law 3 ornaments since her theme for her tree was burgundy and gold.
I also finally used up the Equate makeup remover wipes that I got back in September! I think these good removing wipes, they work just as good as the ones that I get from Big Lots and the Simple wipes. I finished up my Secret deodorant and a bottle of the ELF Mist and Set spray. I would buy all these products again, I already have a back of the deodorant and I think 3 back ups of the spray.
Lastly I have some hair products that I finished up. First up is the Salon Selectives shampoo that I picked up from Big Lots, honestly this was like the bottle of shampoo that would never end! I did not like this at all, the consistency of the shampoo was weird almost gelatin like. I felt like I had to use twice as much of it as I would any other shampoo just to get it to lather up good. On the plus side it smelled pretty good and was inexpensive. I would not buy this again. I also finished up two different oils, my Garnier Sleek and Shine Moroccan Argan Oil and my Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment. Between the two I definitely prefer the Garnier, I just feel like it worked with my hair better and it's about half the price of the Macadamia one. I would repurchase the Garnier Moroccan Argan Oil, but my wonderful husband bought me two bottles of it for Christmas!
Wow, I feel like that was a lot of stuff! Did you finish up any products the last few months?

Mish Mash Challenge Week 17: Grey
Happy Wednesday! This weeks Mish Mash Challenge theme was Grey. I was feeling a bit uninspired this week so I headed over to Pinterest, I had remembered pinning a nail look from fellow Mish Masher Simona over at Light Your Nails that I have been dying to try out!
For this look I used Seduce Me Strawberry from Avon as my base, because I needed a little color and topped it off with Status Update from Color Club, for this weeks Grey color :)
Please excuse my 2 nubs, as they had an unfortunate accident.

Mish Mash Challenge Week 11: Book
Welcome to another installment of the Mish Mash Challenge, this weeks theme was Book. I hope you all have had a good week! I have, I spent the last 2 days running around celebrating my birthday with my Mom and best friend on Monday and Tuesday my Husband took me out shopping and to lunch, since he has to work today, my actual birthday.
Anywho back to my mani which I'm also excited about! I pondered on this book theme for a long time when I first saw the list of themes for this challenge and I never really came up with a good idea. Well A couple weeks ago I downloaded a book to my Nook from Amazon called Gold Stars, not really enjoying the book thus far, but the cover art inspired my mani today!
I used a couple Color Club mini nail polishes, they don't have names on them. I also used a small gold star stud from as Kiss set.
Here is what the cover looks like:
Please excuse my cuticles, I stopped using my Vitamin E Oil and man can you tell it, I need to remember to use it every day.
Also if you have Facebook, stop by and like my new FB page for the Blog, it would mean a lot to me :)
Now let's see what the ladies did for Book, I'm really excited to see!

Top 10 Fall Nail Colors
I don't know about you, but when fall arrives I tend to change up my nail colors a bit. I put away the super bright neons and bring out some darker vampy colors. I thought today I would share with you my top 10 picks for fall nail colors.
I will go ahead and say, please excuse my messy cuticles, I did not take the time to clean them up before snapping pictures.
In the fall my nail color choices usually range from nudes, golds, browns, plums, burgundy, gray and sometimes a red. So lets get started with the top 10!
First up is a polish I have shared on the blog here recently, Avon's Gel Finish in Glimmer. It is just a lovely golden color with fine flakes of gold.

Next up is Viva Las Vegas from Pure Ice. It's a light taupe color with fine gold shimmer.
Milani Signature Gold, is just that. A very pretty warm gold color with tiny flakes of gold shimmer.
Chocolate Martini was the very first Orly polish I ever bought. I just love it's chocolaty brown metallic color. Looks a little more coppery in person.
Gray is also one of my favorite fall colors for my nails. Color Club's Status Update is a nice charcoal gray cream. I paired it with a bright pink for just a little bit of a pop.
I think lilac and lavenders are good colors for fall, not dark and not super bright. One of my favorites is Wet n Wild's Bite the Bullet from the Megalast line. It is a cream polish.
As I mentioned above I love vampy colors for fall, two good examples of this type of polish would be Wet N Wild's Disturbia and Under Your Spell. Disturbia is a nice dark plum color with flecks of purple shimmer while Under Your Spell is what I'm going to call a chocolate burgundy with flecks of shimmer.
I really love the burgundy shade of Finger Paints called Pin Curls & Pouts, this is going to be a great color for fall. I think it would also look fantastic with a flaky polish over it, like Essie's Shine of the Times.
Last but not least is a red, Go Crazy Red from China Glaze. My camera absolutely hates reds and I have a hard time photographing anything red, but here is my swatch. For an even better swatch look here.
What are some of your go to Fall nail colors?

Mish Mash Challenge Week 10: Triangle
Happy Wendesday and Mish Mash Challenge Day! When I seen triangle was on the list I had no clue what I was going to do, so I took to Pinterest for some inspiration. They had all kinds of triangle nail designs on there, intricate ones and simple ones. Then I happened upon this pin and I was like that's what I'm gonna do!
Hopefully it shows up, if not here is the direct link to the pin: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/79657487132602781/
Anywho, I thought it was such a nice nail look and something I felt I could accomplish :)
I painted my nails using Jesse's Girl Beach Baby, a super bright pink. Used some striping tape and formed a triangle, then I painted over all of that with Status Update (on the bottle it's spelled Uptade) a lovely charcoal gray. I thought this would be a nice transition in to fall type mani, more of the dark color showing with just a hint of bright color. I really like the way this turned out.

Mish Mash Challenge Week 5: Music
Welcome to another installment of the Mish Mash Challenge! When I seen the theme for this week was music I had a brilliant idea in my head, paint music notes on my nails, can we say total fail. Y'all it was such a disaster, I tried 3 times to paint them on and it looked terrible each time. So I was thinking what in the world am I going to do for music. My hubby offered to paint them on for me, and I was like okay, but before he got the chance to we went to visit my family and my Niece wanted me to do her nails, and she brought out these nail stickers and guess what was on there, Music Notes! Week 5 Mani saved LOL!
For my base colors I used White on the Spot from Milani and Black Out from Pure Ice. I then placed the stickers my lovely, mani-saver Niece supplied me with on my ring fingers as an accent nail. After I did that I still thought it looked a little plain so I topped my nails with some Color Club glitter polish that I won in a giveaway that the fantastic Liz, from A Mani Maniac, had a few weeks ago.
And here is the end result:
And here is the end result:
Stop by the other ladies blogs and see what they did for Music Week! I'm still healing from my oral surgery, so it may be later in the week before I get around to every ones blog.

NOTD: July 4th
Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose
Just a quick little post today. I wanted to share my July 4th mani with you. I attempted to make my nails a flag! I used Maybelline Color Show Navy Narcissist and stamped stars with Color Club Holo Cherubic, I really wanted to use white, but none of my whites would stamp good. For my other two fingers I first painted them with Milani's White on the Spot, used some scotch tape to make some stripes, and painted over that with Siren from Pure Ice.
Did you do a July 4th mani? Let me know in the comments below, I would love to see them.
Hope you all have a fabulous 4th!
And today is also my babies birthday! They are 4 :)

ABC Nail Challenge: Letter V
I can not believe we only have four letters left in our ABC Nail Challenge! Today is letter V, and this is another letter that I struggled with. I had a couple of polishes that their names started with 'V' and one of them I've already showed on the blog, so I went with Violetta from Avon's matte collection. Once I got it on my fingers I thought it looked to plain so I used my Color Club Cherubic holographic polish to stamp with. I used stamping plate M57 from Konad.
I like matte polishes, but to me they are very unforgiving of any flaws you may have on your nails, such as peeling. I feel like a matte polish really accentuates the flaws. None the less, I think it's a very pretty purple polish. And of course since I decided to use a holo to stamp with, the sun wanted to be shy and not come out, I managed to only get two photos while the was out.

Haul: Sally's Beauty
When I am near a Sally's and have a little extra cash on me I always try to get extra nail wheels, my nearest Sally's is about one hour away. Well I went in earlier this week to pick some up, but they were out of stock. However, I did find a great deal on three bottles of nail polish!I found two bottles of China Glaze Crackle, one in the shade Haute Metal and the other one is Cracked Medallion. Haute Metal was on clearance for $1.50 and Cracked Medallion was on clearance for $.99! I also found a bottle of Color Club polish in the shade Glitter Wonderland, it was also on clearance for $1.99! So even though they didn't have nail wheels I was so glad that I went in and was able to find these deals.
Have you found any good deals at Sally's lately?
