Collective Haul

Sponsored | Bought Myself | Press Sample | Nothing to Disclose | Giveaway Winnings

If you follow me on Instagram you have seen a sneak peek of this haul :)

I also want to say that I am in no way trying to brag by posting hauls, I love reading other's haul posts so I hope others enjoy reading mine too. It's always fun to see the things that people buy. Okay on to the haul.

Last week the hubby and I went shopping in a city that is about 50 or so miles away from us, we live in a tiny town and don't have any of the good stores LOL I picked up a few new goodies and wanted to share.

First place we went was the Dollar Tree and there I found some L'Oreal Project Runway Limited Edition nail stickers. I picked up two of them one in The Seductive Temptress, which looks like snake up close and camouflage from a distance. The other set I picked up was The Wise Mystic, they look sorta like fishnets with some glitter! The only other item I picked up here was a tube of Udderly Smooth hand cream.

Next at TJ Maxx I found some of my favorite foot balm. I won a small tube of this in a giveaway last year and it is the best lotion to use on my feet in the summer time. I've not repurchased it before, because for me it was a little expensive, but I found two 4 oz bottle for just

Haul: Big Lots

I love going to Big Lots to check out their beauty section, you never know what kind of good deals and products you are going to find! A new Big Lot's store opened semi close to my area so hubby and I went to check it out and I scored a few good beauty buys.

First I got a bottle of gud, from Burt's Bees, body lotion in the fragrance Orange Petalooza. Smells so good and leaves my skin feeling super smooth and only cost $2! Next I got a two pack of Revlon polishes, which were also only $2. I got the shades Fig Jam and Strawberry Cream. These are supposed to be scented, I think they just smell like any other nail polish. I also picked up a pack of Ponds Evening Sooth cleansing towelettes for $3.80. Lastly I got an ELF blending eye brush for ninety-five cents!

Have you scored any good deals from Big Lots recently?

Burt's Bees Update

Okay so I have been using a couple of products from the sensitive line from Burt's Bees and I have to say I have enjoyed it! The Cleanser is so creamy! I like to use it when I'm in the shower, cause if I try to splash my face with water and rinse it off that way I tend to make a huge mess LOL. The moisturizer is great too! It absorbs in to your skin fairly quick and leaves you skin feeling so soft and smooth. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the moisturizer does not have SPF.

Target Beauty Bag

The other day I recived my FREE Beauty Bag from Target! It was full of great goodies (see pic below).

It came in this adorable little cosmetic pouch. The pouch contained a coupon book with $20 worth of savings, a sample  of L'oreal Youth Code, a sample of John Freida Full Repair shampoo and conditioner, a sample of Garnier Fructis Pure Clean shampoo and conditioner, a sample of Tresemme Naturals shampoo and conditioner, a sample of Burt's Bees Radiance daily moisturizer, and a sample pack of Pond's Evening Soothe wet cleansing cloths.

So far I have only tried out the Pond's cloths and I absolutely love them! They remove all your make-up and smell great!

Burt's Bees

I am getting the opportunity to try out some new products from Burt's Bees by being a Buzz Agent! YAY! :)

So the 2 products that I am trying out are from the new sensitive skin line. I am trying out the facial cleanser and the daily moisturizing cream.

This post is just going to be a little info on each product and my initial thoughts about the products. Once I have used them for a while I will do a full review follow up post.

The products from the sensitive line contain 99% natural ingredients, such as cotton, rice and aloe. They are formulated to cleanse and moisturize sensitive skin without causing redness or irritation.

The facial cleanser is a soap-free cleaner and is clinically proven to moisturize while gently cleansing away dirt, oil and makeup. Retail cost is $9.99 for a 6 oz. bottle.

The daily moisturizer contains rice extract to moisturize and aloe to soothe. It is non-comedogenic, which means it won't clog your pores. Retail cost is $14.99 for a 1.8 oz. bottle.

The great thing about these products containing cotton extract is that it helps to moisturize the skin, while increasing the softness and suppleness of skin. It improves the skins barrier function and helps to maintain the skin's naturals moisture. Cotton extract also helps to even out skin tone.

My opinion on the facial cleanser is that it's okay. I'm used to using a cleanser where I can massage it on to my face then remove it with a wet cloth. The Burt's Bees cleanser is different, you will need to wet your face the apply the cleanser then rinse it off with water. I have used this a couple of times and I can't seem to remove all of my make up with this cleanser. I will continue to use it and see if my opinion of it changes.

I really enjoy the moisturizing cream. It comes in a really cute pump bottle. I feel that it is really excellent at moisturizing my skin. The only con that I can think of is that it does not contain SPF, which is something I like for my facial moisturizer to have.

The scent of these products is quite nice too. It has a really clean scent.

I will continue to use the products, and like I said before, give a full final review later on. If you have any questions about these products that I did not cover feel free to leave a comment down below.
