I'm a week later on my empties post than I had planned. I had the opportunity to go spend a week with my family, so I jumped on it. This will be the first empties post I have done since May so let's just get right in to it!
I mostly had hair stuff, so we'll check that out first. I finished up Avon Advance Techniques Restoring Shampoo and Conditioner, not anything special about it, didn't notice any changes in my hair, will not repurchase. Next is Suave's Humectant Moisture Shampoo, I liked this it smells nice and seems to give my hair a little moisture and it's inexpensive, would probably repurchase. I also finally finished off the Suave Moroccan Infusion Shampoo, love the way it smells! As with all Suave products I would probably repurchase just because it's inexpensive. Tresemme Flawless Curls Mousse, I liked this and it's affordable, would likely purchase again but right now I want to try out some gels and cream products for my curls. Suave Touchable Finish hair spray, used to be my all time favorite, but I fell in love with an old favorite in September while at the beach, so I probably will not be repurchasing this product. My new/old favorite hairspray Rave! I used to use this stuff all the time back in middle and high school, picked up a travel size while at the beach and fell back in love with it. Obviously will be repurchasing this. Finished off another bottle of Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment, love this stuff on the days that I wear my hair in it's naturally curly state, gives it the extra hydration it craves, will repurchase. Lastly in the hair care empties I have some Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, I received these samples from PinchMe back in the summer, best I can remember I really liked these products and they smell amazing, may purchase in the future.
I also had a few face items. Two packs of Epielle facial cleansing tissues, I get these at Big Lots for $1 a pack, they work well and are in my budget. I have already repurchased some back ups. ELF makeup mist and set is my favorite setting spray. I tend to use this more often when I wear a full coverage foundation, I would repurchase. Love the L'Oreal Hydrafresh toner, this is the second bottle I have finished! Have already repurchased. The last face product I finished off is Avon Elements Moisture boost, love this as a spring and summer moisturizer, but now that it is fall my face feels like it needs some extra moisture, so I would repurchase this but for spring and summer use.
Lastly nail and hand items: Onyx professional acetone remover, something that I will repurchase over and over LOL Also finished up a bottle of equate regular polish remover. Lastly I finished off my Sugar Lemon hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works, I love lemon scents so I have to repurchase this!
What products have you been finishing off?

Empties: May 2014
I so meant to get this up on Friday but never got around too it, it was hubby's birthday :)
I have been hoarding my trash for a few months now, so I thought it was about time to do another empties post.
As you can see the majority of it was hair products, then we have the little family of nail polish removers.
Suave touchable finish is my all time favorite hair spray and I rarely if ever buy anything but it. I tend to only use this when I wear my hair in it's naturally curly state, it helps to hold my style while not leaving my hair feeling all crunchy.
Avon's Advanced Techniques Moroccan Argon Oil shampoo was nothing spectacular, neither was the Suave Moroccan oil shampoo. Probably would not bother with buying either one of them again. Once I finish my current bottle of Suave Moroccan shampoo I will be on the hunt for another inexpensive shampoo. If you know any good ones leave them in the comments.
The Volumizing mousse is pretty good, I alternate between it and all the other mousse's and curly hair products I have. My Mother-in-Law picks this up for me when she visits Sally's Beauty.
Lastly I have my little family of nail polish removers, I have no clue where these have been hiding LOL. I also think it's funny that all 3 are a different kind, obviously I have no preference of polish removers.
What products have you used up recently or this month?
Tomorrow I plan to be back with a TIOT manicure that I am so in love with, been looking at my nails all weekend :)
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day. I'm gonna go squeeze in watching an episode of Pretty Little Liars before hubby gets up! Anyone else watch that? I watched one episode of it on Netflix and now I'm kind of hooked.

Favorites & Empties: January 2014
Happy Friday! I'm combining my favorites and my empties this month, because I only finished two products. So let's get right to it.
Both of the products that I finished up this month were hairsprays, Vintage Glam Thermal Freeze Spray and Suave Touchable Finish. Suave touchable finish is pretty much my all time favorite hairspray, it is the one that I purchase over and over, and will more than likely continue to. The Vintage Glam was a product that I won from Sally's Beauty back in September last year. I have a love hate relationship with this hair spray. I love it because it holds my style, but leaves my hair feeling touchably soft. I also love that it comes out in a fine mist, but that also leads to why I hate it, the spray lingers in the air for a very long time. First time I used it I sprayed my hair went off to do some other things came back about 10-15 minutes later and you could still see the spray just hanging in the air. Probably not a product that I would repurchase solely based on it's price, $8.49 Just can't see paying that when I can get my Suave for $2.97
Now on to the good stuff, my favorites from January!

Year In Review: Favorite Products
Welcome to the first of four posts in my Year in Review series! Today I'll be sharing my favorite products from 2013! I have quite a few things so let's get started. Also if I have reviewed the product I'll link to that post in case you want to know more about it.
I'll start off with my favorite lip product, Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched, since I don't have a photo of it because I'm out of it and I can't find a photo that I took of it, but we all know what it looks like. I went through several of these lip balms in 2013 I think they moisturize my lips well and I love that it has SPF in it.
I tired several new skin care items this year and came out with three that I really liked. L'Oreal Hydrafresh Toner, eclos Skin Prep Cleanser and Avon Moisture Boost Daily moisture lotion. I hear a lot of people say that you don't need a toner, but I feel like it really helps my skin and it makes it feel really fresh. This toner did not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I have been using this same bottle of eclos cleanser for months, and it is probably my most favorite cleanser ever, hands down. It cleans my face well and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. The only issue I have with this product is the price. I have used several moisturizers this year as well, but I stuck with the Avon one the longest, it's a really light moisturizer, but it gives my skin all the moisture that it needs.
Next are face products that I used the most in 2013. I instantly fell in love with the Olay Fresh Effects BB cream, I have been using this since early summer. It gives me the moisture my skin craves and evens out my skin tone, it does not give much coverage though, that's where my NYC Sunny bronzer comes in. I love this bronzer and will probably never

What's In My Travel Bag
Since I am on vacation, I thought it would be fun to share what beauty related items I took with me on my trip.
We'll start of with the 'tools'. I brought along my Elf Complexion Brush for bronzer, Elf Powder brush to 'tap' my face after spraying setting spray, Elf Eye Shadow Brush, Eye Crease brush and Blending Eye brush. I also brought along my Revlon eye lash curler.
Gotta have a clean and moisturized face, so I brought some epille cleansing wipes, L'Oreal toner (love this stuff) and Avon Moisture Boost moisturizer lotion.
For shampoo and conditioner I will brought some samples that I had stashed away. I ended up not bringing the Pantene, I found some Suave Moroccan Infusion Shine shampoo and conditioner samples hidden on the back of one of my shelves. I also brought an extra bottle filled with Aussie shampoo. I changed my lotion out too from what is picture here, I brought along some Vaseline coco lotion, smells yummy. I also wanted a light body spray so I brought my Bath & Body Works Citrus Orchid spray.

Since I am vacationing at the beach I want to keep my make up very minimal, light and fuss free. I brought Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream, Avon Eye shadow quad in Stone Taupes, Avon eye primer, NYC Sunny Bronzer, Avon Water proof mascara, Avon ultra luxury eye liner, Maybelline Baby Lips and Vaseline lip theapy (love using this at night).

A few items not pictured that I also brought along were my Earth Theraputics Tea Tree Oil foot repair balm, love that stuff. ELF Mist and Set spray and Secret deodorant.
Here is my lovely travel bag, it's a Modella bag that I picked up from Walmart a few years ago. It was somewhere around the $10-$15 range, it has nice little pockets all along the inside to stick stuff in.

August Empties & Update
Normally I'm all like where did the month go, but I am glad to see August go! The last week of August was bad for me, I had oral surgery to extract a tooth and had an allergic reaction to the gloves the surgeon used, so I spent the week laid up on the couch with a sore mouth and swelled up lips LOL Another reason I'm glad to see August go is I get to go on vacation the 9th of September! So excited! I will still have posts up the week of the 9th-13th. I will not however have a Mish Mash Nail Challenge post up this week. I was trying to get a couple of the challenges done so I wouldn't have to miss any with my surgery and vacation and somehow I managed to skip over this week and did next weeks challenge (insert eye roll). I should do it but I have so much house work to catch up on and blogging stuff and getting things ready for vacation, but I'm really excited about my post for next weeks Mish Mash Challenge. Okay on to the empites!
Up first I have a bottle of Wild Honeysuckle soap from B&BW. I love the way this smells, I would purchase again if I found it on sale. I finally used up my pack of Ponds cleansing towels; I like these, nothing special, would possibly repurchase them. I also used up the ELF Mist and Set Spray, I really like this stuff if I am wearing any kind of powders on my face because it keeps my face from looking dry and cakey. I threw in my China Glaze Black Mesh Crackle polish because it is so thick it's unusable, same goes for the NYC quick drying top coat.
With all they fun manicures I've been doing lately I finished up my regular polish remover and my pure acetone remover.
I finished up more hair products this month! Finished another can of my favorite hairspray, Suave Touchable Finish spray, already have another bottle. Finished up the Biolage conditioner that went with the shampoo that I finished in June, won't repurchase this. So sad that I finished up my Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves, I have a hard time finding this stuff in my area, but would repurchase. I also finished up two samples of conditioner Tresemme split end remedy and daily moisture renewal from Pantene, probably would not purchase either one of these.

Empties: June
I only have three empties for the month of June and they are all hair products, so let's just get down to business!
Up first is Touchable Finish hairspray from Suave. This is my absolute favorite hairspray, it holds your style, but does not leave your hair feeling crunchy. I have already repurchased this product and will continue to repurchase :)
I also used up all of my Tresemme Climate Protection mousse. I've had this since September 2012! Says it fights humidity, UV rays, static and wind. I didn't see any difference between this and the other mousse products that I've used. I might purchase this again, but it's not a product that I'm gonna rush out to get, it's like $4 a can!
Lastly, I used up my Biolage Hydrating Shampoo. I actually got this from my churches yard sale, it was a full bottle and I got the conditioner too. To me it was nothing special, definitely not something that I would repurchase. I seen this in CVS and it was $19.99 a bottle! Um, no thanks.

Empties: May
Another month gone and another batch of empties to share with you. I seemed to have used up mostly hair products during the month of May.
I used up all of my Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer. I really like this stuff but it is a tad to expensive for me right now, you get 4oz for $12 at Walmart. So I did not repurchase this, I replaced it with Equate Beauty Moisturizing Lotion. You get a 16oz bottle for $7.00 and it's basically the same thing as the Cetaphil with the exception being it does not have SPF.
Since I've been flat ironing my hair a lot lately I have used up my Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray, when I went to repurchase this I could not find it, so I replaced it with Tresemme Strengthening Heat Protect Spray, which is where the purple top came from on this bottle, it actual pump is red. I was using the new product and the pump thingy broke, luckily I still had the old bottle in my empty basket so I just switched out the pumps :)
I had a couple of half or more used up shampoos so I finished them off. One was Suave 2 in 1 Plus Shampoo. I like this, but not anything I'm rushing out to repurchase. The second one was Suave Almond + Shea butter Shampoo, I liked this one too, but again, nothing I'm rushing out to repurchase.
I also received a sample of Crest 3D White toothpaste from P&G. I liked this, but to me toothpaste is toothpaste. I didn't see any difference while using this compared to any other toothpaste.

Empties 2013 #2
I usually don't do Empties post every month, but for a change I had empties two months in a row! Yay me LOL :)
This month I only used up four products, but I still think that is pretty good.
First up is my Olay Complete face moisturizer. For the most part I really liked this moisturizer, really have no complaints about it, but probably not something I would repurchase. I'll probably stick with my Cetaphil.
I also used up my Not Your Mother's Way to Grow long and strong shampoo. I LOVE this shampoo I have a full review of it if you would like to read my thoughts about it. I would repurchase this.
I used up my Aussie Catch the Wave mousse with leave in conditioner. I like this product, but I have found another mousse that I like better, so I most likely will not repurchase this product.
Lastly I used up my Suave Touchable finish Extra Hold hairspray. This is my all time favorite hairspray and will be a product that I purchase time and time again.

Empties
Time for another Empites post! The last one I did was in September, so I have a nice little collection of products that I have used up since then. When I use up all of a product it gives me a sense of accomplishment. How do you feel when you've used up an entire product?
This time around I have two foaming hand soaps from Bath & Body works, on in Fresh Picked Cherries and one in Passionfruit Colada. I had help from my Husband using these up ;) I have also used up two bottles of Aussie Moist 2-in-1 shampoo. I really like this product feels like it give my hair a lot of much needed moisture. For the last set of twos I have 2 tubes of Baby Lips lip balm in Quenched. This stuff was a life saver when we took our vacation to the beach. As long as Baby Lips is around I will always be repurchasing it! Next I used up a Limited Edition bottle of Skintimate shave gel in Strawberry Tangerine Twist. I used up another bottle of my favorite hairspray, Suave Touchable Finish, extra hold. I love this hairspray, because it never makes my hair to stiff. I also used up a small bottle of Onyx 100% pure acetone nail polish remover, great for getting glitter polish off.

Try it Again Tuesday's
I'm sure, like me, a lot of you have bought a beauty product and it somehow found itself shoved to the back of a shelf or the bottom of a drawer either because you forgot about it or it was something that you didn't really liked the first time you tired it. This happens to me often so I thought I would try these products again and see if my opinion on them had changed or to remember why I liked them to start with. This may become a weekly or bi-weekly post :)
So this Tuesday I have two products, one that got shoved to the back of a shelf because I didn't like it a lot the first time I tried it and one that I simply forgot that I had.
