I thought about changing it and using something else, but then the thought hit me, every time someone does their nails, they do not always come out exactly how we want them.

I think it's always a little disappointing when a polish looks really cool on the bottle but doesn't quite reach the same look on the nails.

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about China Glaze, Immortal. Gorgeous in the bottle, plain gray on my nails.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if maybe you got a bad bottle? I bought this when it first came out (huge Hunger Games fan here), and it shimmered and sparkled like crazy.
ReplyDeleteWell I guess it can always work as an underwear for something else! But I know what you mean, I am not a fan of blackened colours that actually are blacker than they are coloured. Kwim?
ReplyDeleteI love dark, short nails. Whenever I have a bunch of breaks I file everything down and reach for a super dark color. Thanks for sharing Smoke and Ashes!
ReplyDeleteI had the same issues with this color. I love the way it looks in the bottle but really wish it translated onto the nail.

ReplyDeleteI think this polish is pretty if you just put something on it like glitters or beads or caviars. Just add some designs and art and you will like it too.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, it does look black on your nails, but you can totally see the hint of color in the bottle, very strange. Good for you for sticking to it and showing us something you weren't really feeling!!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean me too, I prefer when flakies or glitters or whatever are more visible and more "sparkly". But I think it's anyway a nice shade. :)
